Let us thank Stell for that very hot Bazinga dance break. They just know what A'tin wants. Unfortunately, despite thr noble objective of SB19 for the PPOP community, a couple of fandoms bashed the boys for allegedly upstaging other grous in this event which is ridiculous because they were given the liberty however they would like to perform (like backup dancers, lighting, and other effects). Apparently, they didn't like the grand entrance that SB19. Jealousy at its finest if you ask me.
Beautiful Hurraira , regarding your question about showing of skin.. because it's quite hot here in PH some men opted to go shirtless from time to time. But recently the government are implementing fines in people going around half naked in the community. 😂 You can find a clip of SB19 concert in NY. Where in some fans are shouting to ' take it off take it off'to Stell ,but Pablo being the leader and setting up as a good example shouted 'put it on put it on' after the fans are trying to get Josh to remove his jacket as well. Pablo said once and I thinks all the members agree that they want to set as a good example now that many people are looking up to them as well as there are children being influenced by them. So yep..But I think Josh is an exception. 😂 You can see Pablo's reaction when Stell removed his shirt in Manila Pagtatag concert. And when Justin revealed some skin. Pablo's face was gold.
I think when Pablo called everybody on stage, it was not on the script that's why the other groups didn't appear immediately. Pablo hugged the members of his former group, PHP. He was so happy to see them on the same stage. They were his mentors. This is the culmination of SB19's vision, for the different PPOP groups to come together. They were the first but certainly not the last. Trailblazers!
I don't know why the floor/stage director didn't just let them finish SLMT. It was not supposed to be part of their repertoire but I thought it was brilliant to sing SLMT while all the other participating artists join them onstage. Pablo asked all the artists to come on stage while they were singing SLMT (since they were the last performer for the night). The group of guys he was hugging is PHP - his former groupmates. He was the youngest in the group and was mentored by his older co-members. That was a very touching moment to witness! The ending was one big mess (the host introduced each and every group) but SB19's performance at the PPOPCON2022 was spectacular!

I heard mapa beforehand, but I just didn't know it was them!! This PPop concert made me realize how talented they are...all their songs are unique and interesting! After watching the concert .. my friends and I got hooked, especially with Stell... He performs like crazy dancing and singing/belting... talking about voice stability...! His stamina is incredible! Waaah! I had been looking for aclose-up copy of this performance with good video quality. I thought it had been taken down from YT forever. Thank you for reacting to this! This is where I fell in love with "Mana". This is their performance where the footwork is really emphasized. (in the YTFF, they were wearing black, so I can't really see clearly the dance steps. Mana was performed with much power & strength here! I had to rewind this a lot too, because I still enjoy watching your reactions too. I can see that pride there, Hurraira! I love the Bazinga dance rehearsal as I could see everything that is going on. For some reason I can't help but look at Ken ammnot sure because of the red hair buy something in his movement that seem to be same choreo amd at teh same time different. All choreos are great!

To answer your questions Hurraira, about showing skin. Majority of Pilipino are Conservative unless, it is really necessary for example modeling or as an actor/ actress, entertainment industry. Regular people, we usually wear shirt even on the beach.When i was growing up females/girls were not allowed to show or exposed too much. Now a days Pilipino become comfortable and confident of our bodies.

There was a technical glitch towards the end of Mana during Ken's solo. Ken's mic was not working and he shouted "Hindi ko kayo marinig! (I can't hear you!)". He made it like it was a part of his spiel but he was really saying there's something wrong.

My 3 most favorite dance breaks - What, Mana, Bazinga. The intensity, the difficulty, the power is on another level. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And yes I agree with you on the camera work. It was annoying. It would always zoom out on the best parts. It even turned down the lights on the Mana dancebreak where most of the choreo is on the ground - my goodness. 🙄

I was there to witness this. (the side where Stell came out from the back) - this was really their first appearance since the pandemic started to allow face to face interaction and, boy... you can literally see them HUNGRY to perform all their songs in front of a live audience. suffice it to say. they murdered this. (a taster for what they had to offer for their solo concert afterwards) ..and the beginning when the boys started to take off their clothes (hahaha)

Well, filipino men actually walk around shirtless specially when temperature really get hot, when they get drunk, when they play basketball with friends and neighbor, or just casually engaging in a conversation. I have brothers and they did what I mentioned and we didn't see any malice to it. Like I grow seeing a lot of them just do that and we didn't really mind like it's a natural occurence.😅

Pls react to some ppop girl groups- Kaia’s “Dalawa” on wish, and G22’s “Babalik” on wish. Both are ballads :) and both groups are friends with SB19, especially Kaia since they came from the same company before (and one of the members Angela sang Sofa on wish with Josh, also she and her twin Charice were in Josh’s Pakiusap Lang MV)
In terms of showing off their body I think sb19 sets their own decision if they want to show off their body.. in their araneta concert soundcheck stell took off his shirt and throw it in the audience to the delights of the fans. Too bad a fan boy manage catch his shirt

Our dress in the philippines is still fairly conservative as far as everyday city wear goes. It's hot, but we are nowhere as revealing as Westerners in, say, Florida or California. Maybe our conservativeness is somewhere between the Amish and the Floridians, skewing slightly towards the Amish 😂😂😂. We wear sleeveless tops, but usually no cleavage shows. Our shorts are conservative, definitely no butt cheeks showing. Same with mini skirts-- no butt cheeks. We're a little more revealing at the beach and possibly during special evening events.
Hi Hurraira! you wonder how many A'tin are in the crowd, just look at our lightstick. And you also ask who is the person Pablo's hugging at 28:25 He's from Press Hit Play (PHP). If you remember the vid from Cashual Chuck "The Ghost" SB19 Story Episode 0, this exact moment was featured there. Pablo was a member (for a short while) of PHP when they were still a kpop cover group. I'd say PHP is one of the oldest group in that batch. So imagine how long they have been waiting for this moment, and Pablo knows very well how PHP is feeling at that time, because one time in his life, he's part of that group and beating the same heartbeat as them. That's why he can't contain his emotions there.
And may I add, after the part when Ken was almost just whispering his line then screamed "di ko kayo marinig!" (I can't hear you!) commanding A'tin to sing, we A'tin sings (or chant) his lines at the top of our lungs. Although u can't hear it very well in this vid since this was taken from a livestream, in some fancams, d chant is so loud.
Philippines is quite conservative because of our colonial past but traditionally have not had an issue with showing skin. We are a tropical country after all. The past Show Breaks where they were blurred out was when they were still following Korean media protocol. You will not find that on our regular drama series or movies when it comes to males. Most of us do wear shirts or coverups on the beach tho. Our sun is strong and we don’t like to get sun burn.

Women in the cities wear bikinis or swimsuits unlike in the province, mostly are conservative, wear shorts and t-shirts, but men still wear shirtless in Bermuda shorts. SB19 were probably mindful of their actions of being shirtless while swimming being in the public eyes and due to younger audiences.

There's no concept on being very conservative her maybe in belief. About not showing skin when swimming it's the usual thing here. It depends on people beacuse sometimes you want to wear many clothes. It's sunny here and hot because this is a tropical country. We only have summer and rainy season actually, and most of it is hot season so yeah. You can imagine not wearing those clothes you'll look like a charcoal after there's nothing wrong for me to be tan or whatever you call that. The very main reason we're wearing long sleeves most of the time or jacket because the sun is very painful actually. It feels like you were being pinched if you stay an hour without cover. Philippines is hotter than India that's what people from India said. They were a lot of them studying medicine in our country and they look said that our place is very hot😂.

Both are ballads :) and both groups are friends with SB19, especially Kaia since they came from the same company before (and one of the members Angela sang Sofa on wish with Josh, also she and her twin Charice were in Josh’s Pakiusap Lang MV)
In terms of showing off their body I think sb19 sets their own decision if they want to show off their body.. in their araneta concert soundcheck stell took off his shirt and throw it in the audience to the delights of the fans. Too bad a fan boy manage catch his shirt

The music was cut because SB19 “ruined” the program ;-) The other Ppop groups were supposed to come in after SB19’s performance but SB19 already called them to join them onstage during SLMT. They played the music again when everyone was onstage
Our dress in the philippines is still fairly conservative as far as everyday city wear goes. It's hot, but we are nowhere as revealing as Westerners in, say, Florida or California. Maybe our conservativeness is somewhere between the Amish and the Floridians, skewing slightly towards the Amish 😂😂😂. We wear sleeveless tops, but usually no cleavage shows. Our shorts are conservative, definitely no butt cheeks showing. Same with mini skirts-- no butt cheeks. We're a little more revealing at the beach and possibly during special evening events.

And you also ask who is the person Pablo's hugging at 28:25 He's from Press Hit Play (PHP). If you remember the vid from Cashual Chuck "The Ghost" SB19 Story Episode 0, this exact moment was featured there. Pablo was a member (for a short while) of PHP when they were still a kpop cover group. I'd say PHP is one of the oldest group in that batch. So imagine how long they have been waiting for this moment, and Pablo knows very well how PHP is feeling at that time, because one time in his life, he's part of that group and beating the same heartbeat as them. That's why he can't contain his emotions there.
And may I add, after the part when Ken was almost just whispering his line then screamed "di ko kayo marinig!" (I can't hear you!) commanding A'tin to sing, we A'tin sings (or chant) his lines at the top of our lungs. Although u can't hear it very well in this vid since this was taken from a livestream, in some fancams, d chant is so loud.
Philippines is quite conservative because of our colonial past but traditionally have not had an issue with showing skin. We are a tropical country after all.
The past Show Breaks where they were blurred out was when they were still following Korean media protocol. You will not find that on our regular drama series or movies when it comes to males.
Most of us do wear shirts or coverups on the beach tho. Our sun is strong and we don’t like to get sun burn.

In response to your question: In general, Filipino men go shirtless when swimming. Women in the cities wear bikinis or swimsuits unlike in the province, mostly are conservative, wear shorts and t-shirts, but men still wear shirtless in Bermuda shorts. SB19 were probably mindful of their actions of being shirtless while swimming being in the public eyes and due to younger audiences.

Filipino males are a little bit conservative when revealing body
There's no concept on being very conservative her maybe in belief. About not showing skin when swimming it's the usual thing here. It depends on people beacuse sometimes you want to wear many clothes. It's sunny here and hot because this is a tropical country.
We only have summer and rainy season actually, and most of it is hot season so yeah. You can imagine not wearing those clothes you'll look like a charcoal after there's nothing wrong for me to be tan or whatever you call that.
The very main reason we're wearing long sleeves most of the time or jacket because the sun is very painful actually. It feels like you were being pinched if you stay an hour without cover. Philippines is hotter than India that's what people from India said. They were a lot of them studying medicine in our country and they look said that our place is very hot😂.
