@@GazAce 😂😂😂 I think the lowest I've ever been without a full on flame-out is something like sub-50 lbs. However that was on the return trip to an airstrip. (In those cases I try to give myself enough altitude to glide the thing down if need be.) I feel like if a tanker was my only option and I'm already under 1000 lbs, there's a high probability that some neighborhood is about to witness an F-18 rolling down main street. 😅
Hey Gaz! I loved this mission. I made a video of my successful flight through it. Check it out.. ua-cam.com/video/7QmH4fon4z8/v-deo.html. I realized after that I should have done things differently. Im probably going to fly it again and try those lessons learned. I enjoyed this as it made me work at learning how to use the Mavericks against moving targets. I've been a slacker and spoiled with targets which just sit there, waiting for my missile. I tried the mission a couple of times and realized that I needed to review some seldom used skills.
Nice one man & thanks kindly. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sure I'll check out your sortie & I'm also posting a full flythrough for this one any day now with insider tips & guides to help you nail your Targets.
Hi GazAce and thanks again ! As always i need help ^^' if you have an answer it would be great ! I have a problem to enter my WP6 coordinates when I do 'PRECISE' then 'UFC' > 'POSN': I only have formats in NN°NN.NNNN' (or NN°NN.NN' without PRECISE) none in N°NN'NN.NN" ???!!! Pllllllllliiiiiiizzzzzzzzz HELP AGAIN !!! ;)
No worries man, I will help you. First check the Tips I included in your Kneeboard. Have a look at point 3. First, you're right.. box Precise but then in your A/C page ( up the top of screen ) brother & on right hand side you will chose the vertical letters displaying LATLN SEC make sure you click until you see that LATLN SEC. Then you can enter coordinates as normal. Choose UFC then Position as you said & then plot them all. It will ask for Hundredths (abbreviated) after you plot them. You know what.. forget all that LOL. Just go to my old mission Operation: Bobby Cork ok then scrub fwd to 11 min 30 secs, it's all there brother. Done 😉
Looks good Gaz! Gonna fly this one soon!
Cool mate, hey did you catch that AAR? Was like 10 or 20 pnds from empty, my lowest yet 😏
@@GazAce what? I saw it but I thought it was 120(!) Anyway fumes
@@lukew2031Told you not to watch it on your ph lol 😉
140 lbs of fuel before linking up with the tanker? Cutting it a little close there? 😅
