I begun to deal with trim when I started to fly EC135 in 2014. I wasn't used to do so. It was a struggle. I think a good moment to train using it is during an ILS aporoach. The use of trim and the auto pilot patterns is a good issue to talk about. Great video. Thanks. Greetings from Brazil. Now I am copilot of EC135 Helionix.

I am constantly trimming and helping others to trim more flying the V-22. It really makes you a better tiltrotor (in your case a helicopter) pilot.

Let's say it's a very windy day and you've been trimming heavily in forward and to the left. After landing and shutting down, where are the trim settings when you start up the next time?

What if you want to take off but its still trimmed to some wacky position and you want it to be neutral... - is there a button to reset all the trim motors to the neutral position?
    thanks

Cyclic is to be centered during the start up checklist. If there was something wacky going on with trim, don't fly it, adjust it, or get maintence.

I refuse to listen to the woke mob demanding trim.
