Great show, absolutely fell in love with it. It doesn’t do anything new with the Shounen superhero trope but it pulls off the tropes well enough to make an entertaining anime. To be honest though I’m a sucker for superhero origin stories like these, I have a soft spot for them and I just find all the tropes entertaining, from the hero hiding his identity to the girl he’s crushing on trying to piece together the hero’s identity, it’s just something I enjoy. But I digress, really happy it got popular enough to get a S2 be produced by the same team. I cannot wait for it, really tried to stay away from the manga because I had hope the series would do well enough for a 2nd season and it has.

It's physically impossible" which Ultraman does have them except instead of thinking it's the same thing it actually does it different enough that it doesn't get as boring or it's different enough to be entertaining. Unlike Naruto where it gets boring after the second or third transformation he achieves

Same man. I also love superhero stories like that. In many ways this new Ultraman is a very typical hero origin story but it pulls off those tropes in an entertaining way while still having nice world building and awesome action.
