I completely agree with you. I'm watching this at almost 3am due to being woken by my elderly large dog and was rather frustrated and unable to get back to sleep. So I though I'd listen to Perth's gentle tones to help my mind distress. I like yourself could happily sit back and listen to Perth talk until the 'cows came home.'

i love how Perth was honestly out spoken in every topic thrown at him. he might have dodged some but he really expressed his stances clearly putting emphasis on the important things that we as fans or viewers need to know. this is somewhat kind of sneaking a peak into a BL actor's thoughts or even actors in general. Perth is really known for standing his ground on certain topics & just like he said there are times he doesn't express his stance that much coz no matter what he says - good or bad - won't matter anyways. one thing i really love about him is how he respects his family & those around him esp their privacy & this is one thing he is known for. i honestly applaud him for being honest in expressing things - whether it may be things he knows or even those things he doesn't know. also the fact that he is very much open to learning & being educated whether it be things he is interested in or not. so thanks a lot for having him. Perth's reaction at the end was me coz this talk didn't feel like a show at all. i felt like i was listening to friends talking about anything under the sun. i didn't even take note of the time & it even felt short 😅 but i hope we get to see Perth in another episode soon ☺️
I appreciate that even though Perth is straight he pays homage to LGBTQ people and recognizes it takes respect of the community. Especially if you are going to play an LGBTQ role. I feel like a lot of straight guys in the Thai BL industry make money off of playing gay, without actually caring about our respecting the community that they appropriate from which is a bit offensive to me as a gay person. So when straight actors recognize that and use their platforms to say something, even if it's small, means a lot.
@@sailormoony469 Yep! The interviewer asks him about working in BL and his youtube channel. And he clarifies that he is straight and had to learn somethings and appreciates when people give him teaching moments instead of being hostile when he doesn't know. He also mentions a girlfriend he had.

You know what I really enjoyed this interview. Normally I don't watch interview things and even if I do, I do skip some parts. But here, I literally watched and listened to everything. I am so amazed at how Perth is so well spoken. He knows what to share and what not to. The way he jots down his all the words together, it just sounds so wonderful to listen to. Not only that, I even like how the questions were asked. The questions had very good content and definitely the responses too were very well delivered.

Thank you so much for interviewing Perth. He is such an all rounder. What I love about Perth in his videos on his channel is he is so relatable and open and honest. I love his views and how he breaks down and explains things so well that people all over want to know about. If you would have told me 5 years ago I would be watching a BL series I would say your crazy. I support the genre but I never thought I would watch it. I agree with Perth that Thai are the top for BL series. But for me a BL is not about the same sex but about the love story and how the actors can make you feel the emotions. Love is love and I am a sucker for a good love story. And like Perth I don't get the fan service thing. For me as much as I would love seeing an actor I wouldn't go to see any actors (bl or straight) on stage flirting with their love interest from a move or series. They are actors, that being said I do understand the business side of fan service the more fans they generate the more merch they can sell or promote the current or future series. I am amazed how the world views are changing and as long no one is hurt by it and it makes people happy then it's worth it. I love how respectful Perth is to those around him and how he can easily explain things going on in the BL world as a whole and still respect the privacy his friends or other actors he has worked with. While Perth may not have a vocal tone that is soothing he still exudes calmness, knowledge and tranquility when he speaks. Again thanks for this interview it was enjoyable and loved it.
I agree with you on the fan service stuff cuz I too don't get it nor like watching it especially when it's done by the actors being themselves. While you are correct it does generate more revenue for them by well giving fans a bit more extra it can also be harmful even if we wish it doesn't. Either the actors get harmed cuz they can't be honest about their actual relationships and get threats from some fans and fans become disillusioned and are basically kinda fetishising the actors so to speak. This is why I would love the Western tv media to do more lgbt teen and young adult romance stories that are mainstream but of course have none of this stilly fanservice stuff. Of course even the Western TV indutsry has bad points but at least they don't do fan service and aren't mistreating their lgbt+ actors.

Perth is so well-spoken and smart. Loved the interview and how honest he was. One thing about features, I'm half white half asian (German-Filipino) and I, as every halfy, I would say, is seen as asian in western countries and white or half white in asian countries. It's always the opposite
The interviewer was awesome really made this interview feel more like an conversation, really great flow!! One thing I really liked was what he said about fans and boundaries. It made me think “what does it mean to be a fan?” To me being a fan is to support someone/something willingly because you genuinely enjoy it. So like honestly being in the BL/Kpop fandoms for 10+ years now I’ve seen countless number of “fan” cross the line in that artist-fan relationship. I honestly believe that some fans think they have to the right to have full access to an artist because they support them which is not true. Being a fan does not give you the right to know EVERYTHING about someone ya know.
I love Perth's energy for the last 2 minutes of this show. He went crazy when he was noticed that time was up and had to stop this fantastic conversation. In additon, P Big was kind of stunning. I have fallen into BL last year and a few have channels here but him being s native speaker of one of the Englishs is indeed really helpful especially explaining TV, Thai culture, customs to everyone who isn't from Thailand and or the same continent.
Things I loved about this interview: Subtitles on the screen - especially the adj/n/v part Interviewers vibes - you were so great and interactive, I loved it Questions asked - like those were the most respectful and to the topic questions I've seen in a long time Answers given - this man is a walking green flag Honestly this is probably the most respectful but also honest interview I've watched in so long. I usually avoid interviews because of the questions and all but this was just perfect to listen too. I have to watch some more of P' Bick's interviews 🥰
This was a really nice interview, Perth was definitely comfortable and the questions were quite interesting!! It's the first time I see an actor actually looking forward to spending more time with the interviewer haha, definitely speaks volumes of how well done the whole thing was. I enjoy Perth's honesty and openness when answering questions, he's willing to learn and recognises where he needs to educate himself more. Thank you for this great interview/conversation. Perth comes across as a thoughtful and intelligent young man, and I found his explanations of BL and fan service to be most enlightening. I've enjoyed his UA-cam videos and streams (even used his language lessons when visiting my neighborhood Thai restaurant!). I would also like to give him a strong thank you for his support of LGBTQ+ issues, and also for using his talents and abilities to portray realistic gay characters and human relationships. He mentioned his ethnic mix. I'm not sure just how I'd characterize him, other than being a beautiful (handsome) combination. But I've seen a lot of varied combinations in Thai productions - to the point where I just accept and appreciate that element of Thai casting. At one point I considered myself to be "color blind" when it came to race - now I realize that I am, in fact, "color appreciative" - reveling in each person's uniqueness and beauty.
Perth is legit adorable!!! There are a few times I'm invested in an hour long video.....all the very best Perth!!!! I hope u get the opportunities that you are looking for

The interviewer was awesome really made this interview feel more like an conversation, really great flow!! One thing I really liked was what he said about fans and boundaries. It made me think “what does it mean to be a fan?” To me being a fan is to support someone/something willingly because you genuinely enjoy it. So like honestly being in the BL/Kpop fandoms for 10+ years now I’ve seen countless number of “fan” cross the line in that artist-fan relationship. I honestly believe that some fans think they have to the right to have full access to an artist because they support them which is not true. Being a fan does not give you the right to know EVERYTHING about someone ya know.
I love Perth's energy for the last 2 minutes of this show. He went crazy when he was noticed that time was up and had to stop this fantastic conversation. In additon, P Big was kind of stunning. P Big's face was so funny ;)

I have fallen into BL last year and a few have channels here but him being s native speaker of one of the Englishs is indeed really helpful especially explaining TV, Thai culture, customs to everyone who isn't from Thailand and or the same continent.

Things I loved about this interview:
Subtitles on the screen - especially the adj/n/v part
Interviewers vibes - you were so great and interactive, I loved it
Questions asked - like those were the most respectful and to the topic questions I've seen in a long time
Answers given - this man is a walking green flag
Honestly this is probably the most respectful but also honest interview I've watched in so long. I usually avoid interviews because of the questions and all but this was just perfect to listen too. I have to watch some more of P' Bick's interviews 🥰
This was a really nice interview, Perth was definitely comfortable and the questions were quite interesting!! It's the first time I see an actor actually looking forward to spending more time with the interviewer haha, definitely speaks volumes of how well done the whole thing was. Looking forward to him coming back and of course, to him playing a superhero soon lol!

perth really enjoys talking i can see that now 😂😂 but the clear voice podcast quality is so ear-pleasing ㅠㅠㅠ i'm practicing my listenning skill and this helps a lot and it's easy to understand with the definition and translation coming up . also i really love perth's australian accent. anyway thanks for these quality podcast . im enjoyed every seconds of it
One thing that I like from this interview that Perth always gives heads up when he wants to say something quite sensitive and might disrespect other people.

Thank you for this great interview/conversation. Perth comes across as a thoughtful and intelligent young man, and I found his explanations of BL and fan service to be most enlightening. I've enjoyed his UA-cam videos and streams (even used his language lessons when visiting my neighborhood Thai restaurant!). I would also like to give him a strong thank you for his support of LGBTQ+ issues, and also for using his talents and abilities to portray realistic gay characters and human relationships. He mentioned his ethnic mix. I'm not sure just how I'd characterize him, other than being a beautiful (handsome) combination. But I've seen a lot of varied combinations in Thai productions - to the point where I just accept and appreciate that element of Thai casting. At one point I considered myself to be "color blind" when it came to race - now I realize that I am, in fact, "color appreciative" - reveling in each person's uniqueness and beauty.
Perth is legit adorable!!! There are a few times I'm invested in an hour long video.....all the very best Perth!!!! I hope u get the opportunities that you are looking for

Well, Perth is not the only person shocked knowing that its coming to an end, I'm like him too cuz I do enjoy this talk and hearing them talk for the past hour is so good for me as English is my 2nd language and it give me practice to listen attentively to some of the new words spoke over the conversation.
