chk the drum for scratches, change the opc drum if needed, chk the magnetic roller for continuity with multi meter, then depending on if its normal cartridge or high yeild cartridge fill toner powder, mk sure to thoroughly empty and clean the waste tank. 75 gm powder is low yeild that comes wth original cartridge. ideally fill upto 100 gm toner powder for normal cartridge (CC388A) and 120 gm toner powder for high yeild cartridges (CC388X) , before inserting the cartridge into the machine, shake the cartridge sideways slowly for 5 to 6 times, to evenly distribute the powder inside the tank. one side light print is usually for scratched OPC drum or the PCR roller.
