The most impressive thing about his music is how he does not care about making money at all, he just loves doing it. That amount of non-commercial art is something really rare today.

Then why does he sell it instead of making it free? If he loves doing it he's making the music anyway and he's already rich why not give it away?
Come on,music is same hard work like anything else, and it has to be paid. And of course he has to pay to all the session musicians,people who film it, to rent a studio etc. Anyway, if you want to download it for free,you will.
How in the world, even as a musician and jazz and blues fan myself, did I miss this man for so long?!?!?!?!

house brought me here, music made me stay
He only had one concert here and I went to see it due to Dr. House. I loved the tv-show and I was curious of how he's singing. He's a showman! Talented, with a great voice, funny, relaxed. I wish I could listen to him live again...
And a small whisky on top of the piano.. this is a man that love live, and he deserve every happy second.
try it(if you haven't already)...play his songs(not so loud, just as loud so you are able to hear it), close your eyes and don't think about anything...just dream..:) don't know how about you, but for me, it's like magic...:)

Fantastic. Can't wait to buy this in the us. This shows the emotion. The emotion of music flows. This here is my type of jam. The emotions. The feeling. It just makes me feel alive again. I feel as if I can't get enough. Hugh is amazing. Not many musicians or singers can do that to me. They can't give me this feeling of longing for more or the feeling of the emotions. It just amazing. What really is amazing is the way he effortlessly sings his heart out without ease. Truly breathtaking

Hugh Laurie is amazingly talented in acting and music. There loads of actors/actresses and celebs try get into a music career and most fall flat. But Hugh is the real deal.
