For sure flawed but most, even food guitarists would never notice. Only slight dragging behing the prerecorded lead hes playing to now and then and missing nearly impossible bar skills to make it 100%. That being said i would be proud of myself if i recorded a run that good, id watch it everyday. Perfect is reserved for perfect but this is above what i would ever expect from.even the best. Loomis might be the only one to cover it better and hes one of the closest to jasons level in the first place. Absolutely astounding but for any guitarist who wants to get closer to flawless there is technically still imperfections and you STILL have to better to feel like becker.
I'll deservedly get ripped for this because the only proper response is applause to this performance. I'm only nitpicking because this piece is big deal in my life and my guitar journey and there's no way he got it this good if it wasn't the same for him so I thought he might appreciate a, the best k can give, most constructive response because that's what I would want. I listened close and am completely blown away by the performance. The technical shit you can ignore if you don't understand it, I'm not hating on him.
And if the shredder Belmont sees this, bruh, it doesn't sound like you used much compression because of the ambient noise but it seems like you did because of the absolute perfection so maybe you could give some advice on dialing tones for recording, and if you used direct input or an Amp and mic

This is the song that inspired me to play guitar - had never heard anything like it and to be honest I can’t even remember how I was introduced to it. That aside, I have literally looked up covers of perpetual burn for years and years just to see if there was someone who could embody the difficulty and precision/ tone to pull off this song to the max. I’m a nobody in the guitar realm and opinions are opinions but…..this is the best I’ve ever seen it done, my gosh dude seriously just makes me smile listening and watching you play it like that. I get how difficult and technical this song is to play… But who’s going to just sit and listen to this? After about 30 seconds, it started giving me a headache.
Masterful...but I wish you didn't have that harmonizer effect going. IMHO, it would have sounded so much better without that pitch shift/doubling effect.
