Love this technique. I made a painting when you first introduced this with the glove. Thank you so much Amanda!!!!! Awesome video. I also you love how your videos a short and to the point.Good explanation without breathing out a lot of words. You make everything simple, but not all are. You are a true artist
Hello Amanda I am new to painting and love your balloon technique. I've seen the balloon ones but love how the glove technique. Is there a common ratio of how many parts of paint to the pouring medium? Your instructions are very clear, thank you for that. I subscribed and will watch all of your videos. Happy New Year!
Do you need to paint the background for the colours to be more flowy or you can just do it directly on a white canvas? You dont need the background to be dried out?
Hello please can you do a dip in the shades of a ginger cat as ours recently passed away and our daughter thinks he comes back as butterflies 🦋 his colours were orange, mustard, beige and cream. On a light green background as he loved laying in the grass xx
Can you make these flowers/ balloon dip without the white base? White around the dip area is fine, but i want to try and make these on a different colored (dried canvas) background, not the entire background white, or runny.
Wonder what would happen if you put a blob of green by the flower puddles, before you press the glove into the puddle??? Wonder if that would look like leaves ?
Ooo thanks for the suggestion, I've only tried adding leaves once and that was dipping a second time ,but I may be able to try that out dipping all colors at once!
Thank you! I use about 2-3 parts medium to 1 part paint and then just a little bit of water. For this technique I use Sargent Art gloss medium for my pouring medium.
I tried with an unpainted canvas and I do not get the same shape when dipping, so the base coat of paint definitely helps me create these specific shapes.
Love this technique and of course the colors, blue is my favorite. Thanks Amanda
Thank you!

Thanks so much 😊 I use about 2 parts medium to 1 part paint and then slowly add some water until it is the consistency that I want for pouring.
how cool
Thank you!
Very pretty! I saw your Etsy shop; you do beautiful work!
Thank you so much 🙂
I love your work. The colors are amazing
Do you mix water with acryl
Greetings Mary

Thank you!
Do you need to paint the background for the colours to be more flowy or you can just do it directly on a white canvas? You dont need the background to be dried out?
I do the painting when the background is wet. It doesn't turn out the same if it is dry.
This is wonderful, what do you do to clean up the sides of the canvas?
I just try and add more of the base coat to finish the sides.
ممتاز I liked very much👍👍👍👍👍🌷🌷🌷🌷😘😘😘😘😘
Thank you!!
Are you using acrylic paint with no additives or are you using pouring paint? Same question for the base - Thank you! These are beautiful
Some of these were pre-mixed pour paints, some I mixed with Sargent Art gloss medium and water to thin them down.
@@amandasdesignsofficial Thank you!

Ooh thank you for the suggestion, those are beautiful colors with a wonderful memory!
Bellissimo brava
Thank you!
Hi, what did you mix with the paint for it to be so watery?
Water and floetrol to thin the paint down!
Quick question please. Do you let the base coat on your canvas dry completely before you start your flowers? Thanks.
Nope, I do it while it is all wet :)
@@amandasdesignsofficial Thank you - you do some beautiful work

I've tried without a wet base and the shapes don't turn out the same, but you can always try it out and see what it looks like.
The paint you use for the flowers mixed with a pour agent.?
Some of these were pre-mixed pour paints and I did not add anything to them.
Bellísima
Thank you!

Nice
Thank you!
VERY nice!! I’m trying this right away! ❤️❤️💫💫 🎨 🧤
What do you dilute your acrylics with? And in what percentage?
Thank you! I use about 2-3 parts medium to 1 part paint and then just a little bit of water. For this technique I use Sargent Art gloss medium for my pouring medium.
@@amandasdesignsofficial great! Thank you for the data 💫
What is in the paint that you cover the canvass with ? Oct 10 @ 6:30
Acrylic paint thinned down with water and pouring medium.
Do you need to color the whole background first or can you do this with just a blank unpainted canvas?
I tried with an unpainted canvas and I do not get the same shape when dipping, so the base coat of paint definitely helps me create these specific shapes.
@@amandasdesignsofficial ok thank you!!!

can u paint in olive color ?
I can definitely do some olive color dips!
What do you used as white color in the begging for a whole board to cover?
White acrylic paints thinned down with water and pouring medium.
