Hello Reza. As always, a great video that provides very clear direction. Thank you!!!! I am experiencing a few issues with the list attachment viewer component which I'm hoping you can help to resolve. 1) For Word documents with a .doc extension, the system is not returning any image (document or icon). For those with a .docx extension I have many with screenshots within. For these documents the component is presenting a preview of one of the screenshots within the document instead of the Word document itself. 2) All PDF previews are very blurry. I've tried adjusting the resolution, but it does not seem to have any impact on the preview. Any suggestions on resolving these issues?
HI Reza! Thank you so much for all your videos and sharing your knowledge! You are truly helping me a lot. - Just one question: How can I adapt your component to display previews of links to other documents? That is: instead of attaching a document to the list's item, I'd like to use a link to an existing document in a document library and use your component to preview that document referred through the link. The link would be a field/column to be added to each item. I'd like to do this in order to avoid creating copies of images designed for social media. Thank you in advance!!

But we are able to preview only PDF files in the Previewer when we click on the PDF icon on the top right corner. Is there a way to preview PPT files also in the Preview window? Your leads would be really helpful in this case. Thanks in advance,
@@shivanand123456789 It should work with ppt. I would recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
Brilliant. Does this support jpg because the image is blank in the app but shows in the preview. What could be the reason to this
It does support jpg. I have not come across this issue and hence not sure what is the cause for your issue. I recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
Hello, thank you for the elaborate explanation and the free component :D
Could this compoment be used for Dataverse as well with some changes?
Could be but it wont be some changes
i have no errors and its works for some files, not all for me, for example, I have a JFIF file, and also when I run the app on my phone none of the preview attachments doesn't show all image or pdf in the gallery-like yours but on PC it works on 6:35 by the way thanks a lot
Check video description. It has a link to limitations in mobile. This would be one of them.
Again a great video Reza, thanks for sharing. I see multiple people are having the same problem I have with the component mapping missing for 'AbsoluteUri, DisplayName,Value and ID'. Any updates on this topic? I get the display name and the number of attachments but no previews.
No updates since its been a while I have made this video. Many are using this component to date without any issues as well.

@@RezaDorrani Hi Reza, thank you for the amazing video. I'm having the same issue with the component properties not showing, is there anything that may be possibly wrong?
@@racheldu9395 I cannot guess the issue without looking at component in action. Please post issue with screenshots on the forums.
Hi Rezza
Thank you for all your help! I have had trouble loading up your component, when I eventually did, only the name of the attachments were displaying, the picture/s failed to display. After reading through the reviews you have highlighted that this will be a limitation for a mobile app. My question is that even if I was to use this functionality on my laptop will this be the case or have i done something incorrect for the component not to display the file? If this is a limitation, is there another way to carryout the task as mentioned in your video from 12:56 (Ideally I would like to obtain the same functionality) onwards?
Limitation should be on mobile not laptop. I will have to look at your App in action to provide guidance. I would recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
Reza, this is great again! Do you also have a viewer für msg email files?
Thanks. Nothing for msg files as of yet.
Amazing video, 1 small question I can't seem to add the support for .msg files.
Any idea if this is a possibility
I dont think that is an option
Thank you for sharing your Knowledge... Quick question Mr. Reza, Do you know why on the mobile device, the pdf viewer reset the app when you zoom in?
Might be a limitation of the control on mobile. PDF Viewer is an experimental control. I believe since over 2 years now.
Brilliant Reza. This works perfectly on a PC but when using a smart phone the thumbnails don't appear. Perhaps I've missed something?
Thanks. Video description has link to blog post that showcases the limitations on mobile.
Great video.
I've followed the steps and also copied the link for multiple attachments viewer but the images are not showing up. Only blank images.
I will have to look at your App in action to provide guidance. I would recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
Reza, great videos. Thank you so much for all of your content. I would like to ask for some help. I implemented your design (even downloaded the template) but I am having an issue with Next/Previous buttons. My solution to "Select()" records cannot be used in a nested gallery. Do you have any suggestions to implement a next/previous button.
I will have to look at your App in action to know the cause of your issue. I recommend posting your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
1) It is default behavior of the pdf conversion action. It will pick images in word doc if present.
2) Have not experienced this hence not sure.
@@RezaDorrani Thank you for the quick response.
@@RezaDorrani One more thing, as for the Word docs with a .doc extension, any thoughts on why just these files are not showing a preview?
@@MamaBear5555 May not be supported.
I do not have a reference video on this scenario & would have to try it out to provide guidance. My guess is it would not be straight forward. I would recommend posting your query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com . May be someone has done something similar.
@@RezaDorrani Thank you so much! I feel honored that you wrote back!! Will do! Wish you all the best!🤗

Very usefull! Thank you for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi @@RezaDorrani, thank you. I wanted to add the component to a different screen than the one where the gallery is. In the items component I added "galery name in diferrent screen".Selected.Attachments but the component shows every time the attachments of the first item in the gallery, not the selected item. Any idea how to solve it? Thank you again!
@@soraiataipa I would have to try that out and/or look at your App. I would recommend to post your scenario with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
