2016 kawa ninja EX650F, shorty asv levers are packaged with the wrong/bad rod. don't install unless you contact their customer support first and make sure they send you the right stuff, otherwise you'll end up over the handlebars like i did.
I have them on my 02 Honda 400ex and I will forever put them on all my machines from here on out . they rock ( I think mine cost ($220)ISH DEFF worth it !!! ( mine are on the fly ADJ as well. )
I was debating getting an ASV for my drz400lbs until I tried my friend's on his bike. Seemed "meh" so I went with a RSC. Roughly the same price point. Doesn't have the breakaway feature though. 🤷🏼♂️
Love the info and am considering one for my 2022 crf250f …. Only thing is , I’m not a bike mechanic and would love to see how to correctly do the swap. Not found any videos yet of how to replace it on my particular bike model. Also my bike has some sort of switch in the clutch handle because it has wires coming off the back and so I don’t know what to do with those if I wanna upgrade. Anyway, thanks for the video.
Those wires are for your ignition. Makes it so your bike won’t start unless the r clutch is pulled in. You can always just loop them back on themselves to disable that safety feature or make sure you buy the correct clutch lever for your bike which has a spot for the wires. As for swapping clutch levers, it’s just a few turns of the screw. Take a look at your lever and play around with it. I’m terrible at working on bikes but if I can figure it out anyone can.
Can you help me out with install on my 2015 250fx? It should be straightforward but the little "dumbbell" that actuates the front brake is too big to align the brake lever to the perch hole. Does that makes sense?
Kind of makes sense. Are you saying the dumbbell on the end of your brake line that slips into the lever is too big to slip into the lever? If so, is it possible they sent you the wrong lever?

I got some f4's in the color orange, shorty's for my 2016 yz450f. I'll never run anything except these.

@@DirtyMountainGoats thank you 👍🏼
I hear the new flo levers are rad
I see the asv levers as kinda pointless if you have hand guards...
Excellent review. Subscribed!
Could the levers run on a stock perch or need the whole thing
Not sure. I think they only fit the ASV perch. But you want the perch. That’s what makes me the big difference.
thumbs up on the ASV's

Love your videos dude, I gotta ride with you guys some time!
Thanks Chris! Follow on FB if you can. That’s how I’ve been setting up rides. Easier that way
I am! Im an ultra rookie, my dad and I just picked up some RMX450Z bikes!
Mine just made my clutch less sloppy
I got Ebay $35 brkaways and they have hold up multiple crashes and it looks just like the ASV'S,and mine are 4way bend vertical and Horizontal as well
Sweet! What brand?
@@DirtyMountainGoats generic,no brand!
They still make cable clutches? jk, nice review bud. You doing the Wet Duck poker run this weekend?
Heading to Mehico. But I'm doing the Desert 100 next weekend.
When are you ready for another ride? Maybe north of Walker - some secret squirrel shat
Hydraulic clutch isn’t all it’s made out to be. Ask Eli Tomac.
goat peer pressure wins again..............
Have you tried a magura? More gooder.
Hydraulic?
You should go hydraulic why do you think so many people ride the European bikes they’re good and they have hydraulic clutch’s
No need. My clutch pull is lighter than most of the KTMs out there.
