Everyone counted out Julian Erosa but I guess he didn't get the memo. Julian just submitted a highly regarded top prospect and proved that you should never count him out. Julian Erosa will be a champion mark my words. Topuria better be nervous because "Juicy J" is coming for that belt.
Bwahha delusional. Erosa is a gatekeeper. Ramos is not a highly regarded prospect, hes barely UFC caliber.
@@doctad11p ok, Erosa just performed a perfectly executed Guillotine. Keep in mind that this is a move that Dustin Poirier has tried many times to perform but has never been able to finish. Erosa made it look effortless.

1 - The fight was a prelim fight and thus not on the PPV portion
2 - Dominated? He won R1 clearly and had 2 close rounds. He won. I don't question that. But he was credited with the same sig strikes as Hakeem in R2 and R3 with some extra volume in the form of empty strikes.

Erosa is a solid action fighter. Awkward because of his height and reach to fight. But he's not likely to grace a PPV main card anytime soon.

Have anyone else wondered where do these Brazilians get their BJJ black belts? They always get easily submitted very consistently and easily, like Rodolof Vieira did against Anthony Hernandez just to cite one of thousands of examples I can mention; either that, or they never submit anyone, like RDA having 2 subs in 12 years, both setup by striking, and Dos Anjos also a guy that got ragdolled by 15 wrestlers in the UFC
A real fight is way different than a jiu jitsu match. And they use mostly Gi’s during practice. No gi and someone trying to punch you in the face makes a big difference.
