Hi Bill, what a nice sedate little wander. Rufus is getting to know you as he came over to check it was you even before you put his food out. Shame you missed Barry today, but he can look forward to more shots of the back of Wetherspoons in the future. 😂😂😂. See you tomorrow mate. 👍👍👍
Cheers Rob - Its actually 2 diff Barrys (Just for confusions sake! 😂) Barry (Back of wetherspoons) isn't down atm, but Barry 2 (Barry Millar) was who I was looking for that day... I actually filmed him at 14:09 on the crazy golf course! - He just told me that below - He's in the comments! 😂 See you tomorrow mate 👍
Hello Bill lovely walk 😊nice to see so many people out and about . Thanks for the pics Bill and Mark oh what a lovely young man Mark were you 😊 happy trains and happy Rufus lovely . Yes Bill Puch And Judy lovely seaside fun 😂 well ill let you get for today Bill I'll see you tomorrow stay safe ❤😊xx
Ah bill, seeing these old photos takes us right back when summers were long and 90% of people were friendly and happy. Shame its not quite like that now 😢
Tiny Tacker Two - the sequel, lol. We didn't comment yesterday, tech problems pah!, but be assured we watched 👍. This was a glorious walk Bill all the right elements, spot on 👌. Byeee 'til tomoz.
Can't resist a bit of Norman can you Bill? 😀 As soon as you turned to walk down the skew bridge I knew what was coming! 👍 Great images from Mark. I think the train may be a Class 42 'Warship' class diesel which was a mainline unit on the express run to Cornwall so it would have appeared on this line. Someone should be able to confirm that.
Hi Bill, not sure if you are aware but the hotel on the front was called The Bairnscroft and run by John Head. My mum used to be an evening nanny there!! The loco in Mark's picture is a 'Warship' class....my era 😂😂
Another great walk mate , I’m actually going to watch the Norman film this weekend. The locomotive with mark in , is either a class 42/43 warship which operated out of Old Oak Common/ Laira and Newton abbot I haven’t seen Punch and Judy for years Great stuff today and totally enjoyed it.
Rufus and Robins in general are ground feeding birds hence his little feathery habit of knocking your offerings onto the floor Bill. It is great though and very kind of you that you're feeding the wild bird population and the Swans when they're about
Yes, I address this in an upcoming vid - They ARE ground-feeding birds, but the food in the feeder simply makes for a good visual in the video - The food I always throw on the floor, disappears on film - But rest assured, he gets both 👍👍👍
Great footage mate. And marks pics. Oooh bill. Right place. Totally wrong time. I think you were feeding rufus as we passed. And I never thought to go round back and look 😡😡😡had my son and his wife there too to meet you so sorry mate we mis timed. But yes you did contact me after we missed each other as my wife said. Always next year my freind. Was an absolute pleasure to meet you. And I’ll follow now till hopefully we meet again next aug. Keep up the great work bill and love to mum. This is a great channel to be involved with. With I know regular happy followers. Thanks bill. See you aug 2025 🤞🤞🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

It certainly does look like the class 42 , it may even been the class 43 . It’s a fabulous photo regardless
You know me too well 🤣🤣🤣

No worries mate, no worries at all - See you August 25! Eeekk ! that sounds like a date in the far future! But its less than a year away! 👍👍👍
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth I look forward to that 👍
In photograph look at hotel you
can see top window brick up bill window tax in 1800 .
Look again today got windows back
Oh yes - You are quite right - I didn't notice that!
I wonder if the horns onthe big trains are more directional so that you don't hear them whenyou arebehind the train.
I don't think that's the case David - Its rare the larger trains toot at the 'W' sign. I was very surprised when the one today did 👍👍👍
