One of the biggest things that affects torque on that M109R engine are the adjustable gates for the exhaust system. If you replace those with different pipes you greatly affect not only how much torque, but where the torque curve is. BTW excellent phone/camera combo.
Sorry but I like the Cobra Swepts better. And I have a set on my 2013 M109R LE. It is really almost impossible to do justice to any of the pipes with a microphone on the internet. The Swepts sound awesome in person. I was going to get a set of Monster aftermarket baffles to get a deeper sound, but they basically just make a too small version so it will go up in the pipe and a good portion of your exhaust goes around the baffle because they don't bend them to fit the pipes. I guess they figured putting the baffle pipe in a bender was too much work. I am thinking about getting some fiberglass wrap, pulling the stock baffles and wrapping them for a deeper tone. But I am not about to spend almost $200 for a product that the manufacture is too lazy to make them right. And on top of that you have to uninstall the heat shields and drill holes and put them in 6-8 inches up the pipe.
I liked the Hard Krome Sideburner better than the Cobra Swepts on my '08 M109R. The tack welds for the hold downs clamps for the heat shields on the Cobra Swepts failed, not once, but twice... never again Cobra!
Did Suzuki get rid of that SET Valve thingy on the later bikes. I've seen an install where you have to disconnect wires and a bracket and all kinds of goofy crap. Di these pipes just bolt directly on?
Sir, Not to change the subject of your vlogs, but can you tell me if you have had trouble going from 1st to 2nd gear on your M109R ? Mine goes in very hard. I have adjusted the clutch cable every which way but God who knows. I have heard changing the stock clutch foot shifter does wonders on these bikes to get a smoother transition form 1st into 2nd. Any truth to this in your experience ? What would you advise doing ? Down shifting from 2nd to 1st is no problem, but 1st into 2nd seems to hang and go in hard. Please advise........Bill
I never had any issues BUT I had shaved the center pin to my clutch basket to let my oil get in the clutch plates. I also bought and installed the smaller star shifter. I added the bronze bushing on the shifter and last but not least, the clutch gets adjusted in 3 places per the service manual. First in the clutch basket itself (right side of the bike), then on the adjuster on the left side of the bike and final adjustment is at the lever. If you havent done it this way, it might help dial it in for you. But to answer your question, no, I never have any issues neither shifting 1-2 nor staying in 2nd.
just got my 2011 M190R and really like the look of your new pipes, can you tell me the model of them... I looked at the Freedom Pipes and just want to b e sure to get the right ones...Thanks..
Very Nice and LOUD the way I like it. Loud pipes have saved my bacon countless times. Cage drivers are Not Paying Attention and the loud motorcycle pipes kinda wakes them up. Granted some old cranky ^** will call the cops. But they really don't understand. Happy Trails dude. Enjoy it while you can.
I have film clip after film clip. Every film clip is very low in the rev range. If you are doing an exhaust sound comparison you must do it through the entire rev range. Yes your engine was cold so did you think to do less talking and warm it up prior to .....I'm wasting my time.
I wouldnt say you need one but I would say it helps. I ran w/o one for a while and it was fine but I did later add one and have it dyno tuned and it ran much better.
3:26 and 12:53 to compare the rumble!!! Nice work. I can definitely hear the deepening of the "bass" with the shorter exhaust.
Yeah for the m109 I'm a Cobra fan for that bike. Longer pipes also fit that bike better. But hey, your bike, your choice. Very nice. Cheers!

I had the bike dyno tuned so i never had any issues. Thanks on the cam. Now I use my Samsung S21 Ultra and record everything in 4k@60FPS ;)
Достаточно прошить мозги и все будет хорошо.

Heya Marty! Would you please tell me if you had to dyno the bike or anyhting? Lost any torque etc. after installation? Thanks in advance!

Never had a problem but good this I own a welder ;)
Mine too, currently shopping for new exhaust
Mine too, currently shopping for new exhaust
The sound of the Freedom exhaust is better but you lose some mid-range without the cross-over the Cobra exhaust had...did you miss the mid-range?
I had my bike dyno tuned so there was no loss anywhere. Its pulled through all of the gears.
Louder and looks better.
I heard US HIGHWAY 19 then I heard 229. Where in South Georgia are you?
I have the freedom performance as well I love them

Not sure. Mine had it but was already disconnected by the PO. They did bolt directly on and with out issues
Man I really need help, I have everything installed but the damn heat shields are loose as hell wtf is going on
Also I notice you have everything installed but the clamps were still on the ground. Where do these go? Do they support the heat shield somehow?
Yeah they went through the heat shield and on the pipes
Great jnfo ,,,,So follow instructions step by step and rotate to line up?
Yes, exactly

Tôi không biết nói gì hơn M109r nó là niềm khao khát của tôi nó cũng là những gì mà tôi mơ ước sở hữu được nó, nó đối với tôi là chiếc xe tuyệt vời

just got my 2011 M190R and really like the look of your new pipes, can you tell me the model of them... I looked at the Freedom Pipes and just want to b e sure to get the right ones...Thanks..
Jeffrey Hohendorf how do you like your bike?
They were the Sharp Curve from Freedom Performance. I loved it but i sold it last year
I appreciate your video; very helpful However, you never showed us how to take off the sensors.
Sorry about that but what sensors?
Very nice, good luck and Be Safe!
Hey man, sounds great, where’d you get the background for your gauge on the tank? Is that a slip in backround film?
came with the bike. Sry
Love mines. Everyone knows I’m in the area.
how are you liking the new freedom pipes. Looking at these for my C109RT
The FNG I like them a lot. No complaints at all. I have buddy locally who removed the baffles from inside them and they are WAY too loud.
sounds beautiful
+Tyno Vu Thanks

Yeap!
do you have for sale the old one swept ocbra exhaust?
+GREG HADES Sorry, those were sold
Sounds better than a Harley but not as good as my SV .

Feel free to make your own video ;) This one is only 9 years old.
do you need a power commander
I wouldnt say you need one but I would say it helps. I ran w/o one for a while and it was fine but I did later add one and have it dyno tuned and it ran much better.
Idk why you'd take that beautiful cobra pipe off there for that freedom crap....just sayin
Cobra pipes look like chit
По ре это самый крутой вид и звук
Shortie pipes look better but sound like shit.
Long toobs sound better.
Your choice.
Фуфло!!!
