Many of these arrangements are from the ROM Pack cards but a few of these arrangements are still
used in today's entry level Casio keyboards. Some of the Casio SA series arrangements are also remixes
of these arrangements. The Casio CTK-550 also has most of these same arrangements. The CTK-550
sounds like the CT-700 and CT-770.
Thanks for uploading. Casio's old PCM sound source method, used in the old SA/CA/ML and some MA-series is the best.
I like this PCM Casio sound chip, too. In fact, I have 30 Casio keyboards with this or a similar sound chip, including this particular keyboard and it’s bigger brother the CT-400. I also have the Concertmate 450, which is the Radio Shack equivalent of the Casio SA-20. I bet some of the sounds in this PCM hardware would be inspiring for electronic pop music.
@@mitchmatthiesen5855 A spiritual successor to this sample-based sound generator is the one found in the Casio CTK-150/450. Their sounds are like the old SA-series. A shame they got rid of it! Instead they used Holtek chips for the SA-46 and similar...
It's ironic because Holtek chips were used for Casio SA clones (My Music Center and no-name unbranded toy keyboards that have the stolen Jingle Bells from the SA-45), yet Casio ended using their sound generator ICs.
@@pmd9801 I have a Casio CTK-150 and I also have the CTK-300 which has two built-in speakers and a few more features than the latter. The CTK-150 was the first Casio keyboard to have more than 15 built-in demo songs. The case design of the CTK-300 is almost identical to that of the CT-400. Both the CT-400 and it’s successor the CTK-300 have drum pads and a chord sequencer, but the CTK300 does not have the tone layering feature like the CT-400 does. There was one other keyboard model in the CTK series that had the same sound set as the CTK-150 and that is the CTK-200, which I don’t have but would like to add to my collection. Casio also released the KT-40, of which I’ve only seen one video on UA-cam. The KT-40 is basically a CTK-300 with a cassette deck and karaoke functions.
@@mitchmatthiesen5855 SA sound engine with tone layering? I don't quite understand what is tone layering. I think it's when you can mix 2 waveforms to get the sound you want? If so, that's what I want, and it would make the sampling much easier if I want to make a SoundFont. Sampling the layered sound is a waste of space, instead of sampling the individual waveforms.
@@pmd9801 What I meant was that the Casio CT-400 and it’s little brother the MA-220 along with their predecessor the CT-840 had a feature that would allow you to layer any two preset sounds.
8:35 *"HELLO?!"*
Hello, OMNI
Oh I get it
4:36 Twinkle twinkle little star
Great to see another Japanese-made keyboard with a sample of the song almost everyone knows as the "hello ice cream truck song"
She'll be comig around the mointanin😊
Can you do the Casio Ml1 all demos. I had that keyboard when little.
I agree. There's no video of the ML-1 demos in high quality.
funny enough I got a Casio CT-400 and I recorded the entire 15 song bank, I was thinking about uploading it here but I didn't really feel like taking the risk.
Well I don't have any interest in monetization so the copyright does not affect me a lot.
I'm interested in the demos though...
Do any of you know of a video, where "Lovers Concerto" is played as a demo song on a keyboard?
Y el título en inglés cómo es de la canción 7?
picnic
Got'em
Can you do the Lk-6?
Hmmm unable to find that one used in local area...
Class!

Silent night, holy night
Este órgano estaba en la casa de la amiga de una tía que tengo.
Busco demo symphony no. 40 casio piano
Awww, it doesn’t have the melody guide lights.
Yep, only the blinky tempo LED. I think they did include all the musical scores in the manual though.
I guess you're thinking about the CT-840.
@@whc2001 that’s a cool keyboard, you got them
