Hello everyone, Just correcting some minor mistakes of mine. 1. When Harvey made a landfall at Rockport Texas on 25th August 2017 10 pm CDT the moon was transiting Chitra nakshatra. However, when the moon was transiting Tula navamsha so swati nakshatra in D9 on that day the Harvey hurricane was getting strengthened rapidly. Exactly at the landfall at Rockport the Spica or Chitra star (moon position) was setting and Arcturus or Swati, the star of wind was going to set next. 2. Rohini Hasta and Shravana are 10th nakshatra from each other which is karma nakshtara and not Param-mitra as I said in the video at around 10:00 minutes 3. The other was as mentioned mistakenly wrote the lord of Chitra as Vishwamitra. It is actually Vishwakarma or Twastar.
I recently found out my partner has his Sun and Mercury in Hasta, 10th House. The description for this Nakshatra matches him to a high degree. My natal chart Hasta in Rahu in the 9th... I have been a massage therapist almost 17 years and cosmetologist 16 years (hair cutting, color, facials, waxing,etc.) I have always felt like massage is part of who I am, not just what I do. I think it's really interesting how Hasta's lord is the sun god and in Greek mythology, the Crow has something to do with Apollo, the Greek sun god. That's so cool :)
One observation - Shradh rituals are followed when Sun is in Virgo in hasta , rituals are done for forefathers, feeding crow is essential part of that ritual and interestingly Moon, the nakshatra lord, is also in Hasta on New moon day , which is most comprehensive day for the given ritual.

Have been observing the nakshatras working in divisional charts a lot. Looking at lagna of the divisional charts. Looking at the planets lordship in rashi and divisional charts. Have seen the nakshatras in divisional charts add in a deeper flavor corresponding to the area of life represented by the divisional chart.

Also have sun and moon in Revati in 7th and I could resonate more to navamsa than rasi chart. I think once we do enough meditation we can become aware of subtler levels of existence.
You are absolutely right. I do believe that for spiritual individuals, who are more in tune with themselves their D9 chart will resonate more, simply because they are already "walking their spiritual path in life", which is indicated by D9 chart. Even though the Rashi chart events will play out, they will feel more connected with the D9 chart internally. Now here's another question. Imagine how spiritually aware someone should be to be aware of higher divisional charts such as D60 or even D81? Probably what all the enlightened gurus are able to access within.

I have my rahu in hasta and the moments that I use my hands and invest my time into my projects, my financial accounts improve and expand. When I try to use a phone (representing rahu for me) to try and make a project easier I feel that it is harder than actually just using my hands. It makes the process feel faster and more magnetic.

There was a time in my life, maybe @ late 30s that I just needed to use my hands to build something. It was like... I know - somehow, that I had to use my hands to build things in life. Brilliant, brilliant work Pai team! Each one of you put forward enlightening points. It seems like Hasta is a very fertile nakshatra in that it incorporates various permutations and combinations of kriyas. What drew my attention the most in this video was the connection between ashvini, bharani and punarvasu, as presented by Dr. Togi. I wish we could hear some more on that. I have always felt that Hasta and Bharani have a very close connection with each other. Another interesting point worth noting in this presentation is the point raised by Eve ji about being humble and human lest the siddhis get the better of you (cf. Krishna/kamsa connection). It seems like Hasta is also sharp like Krittika (spear/scissors/sword/knife). In the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, the queen of swords represents a widow/separted/world-wise/sharp woman who cuts through lies and deception (hasta: widow-maker nakshatra). Mercury in hasta gives a good grasp on vocabulary too. Dr. Kanholi's observation of Hasta in regards to the names of the Sun was brilliant! The study of names is called onomastic analysis, if i am not wrong. I also thought of handwriting analysis. Mercury in Hasta with a twelfth house connection can make one an interpreter of dreams/symbols and extremely intuitive. The point on laughter/humour was spot on. Also, Hasta gives youthful appearance. P.s. Bharani moons are usually impregnated with multiple ideas to the point that it feels like the carefully collected and sorted thoughts may slip away in no time. I have Mars in Hasta, but retrograde. With saturn retrograde in Chitra. Both in the 3rd house. I'm a bit of a butter fingers. Tried learning veena but it was disastrous! Atmakarika Venus in Hasta 4th Pada 8th house - I am an energy healer but currently both my hands are injured and I came across with the video. While watching I've been having a tough time to grab things, thinking Venus in Hasta is being hard on me ! Yes Eve Ji, Venus isn't at ease in Hasta, she does well in U.Phalguni but not in Hasta where you get to experience what it means to have a debilitated Venus. In India they say "jam ke mukka se bhi zor ka thappad zada bhari padhta hai." :-) A stinging strong slap on the temples of the face can kill a person than a fist punch on the face. Because there are strong energy vibrations coupled with force, felt while slamming the facial nerves with an open palm than a closed fist punch, which only has force.

As a hasta native I absolutely loved listening to this! I had so many alignments with aspects discussed here. One thing that really made me laugh was “hasta people are always punctual” -No! However it’s one thing I have to work in continuously so perhaps it will be come true for me as I continue to mature. And my hasta is in the 11th house and yes, my professions weave together the career paths named for this position: painter, chef, priest and teacher! I literally am a raw dessert chef and I “paint” on my cakes and then I teach people how to make them. Lol. I love the alignment!
On my D9 chart, Saturn (lord of 11th and 12th) is in Hasta (pada 1) in my 7th house; and on my D60, Ketu (lord of 8th and 10th) is in Hasta (also in pada 1) in my 10th house! Hasta and Ashlesha not much compatible. Need more charts to test but I have seen in few cases. Hasta lord is Moon, while for Ashlesha its Mercury. Moon and Mercury not compatible. Hasta is 5th nakshatra from Ashlesha too, which is Prayatak or obstacles in Navtara system. Snake was an obstacle in the path of crow.

Just correcting some minor mistakes of mine.
1. When Harvey made a landfall at Rockport Texas on 25th August 2017 10 pm CDT the moon was transiting Chitra nakshatra. However, when the moon was transiting Tula navamsha so swati nakshatra in D9 on that day the Harvey hurricane was getting strengthened rapidly. Exactly at the landfall at Rockport the Spica or Chitra star (moon position) was setting and Arcturus or Swati, the star of wind was going to set next.
2. Rohini Hasta and Shravana are 10th nakshatra from each other which is karma nakshtara and not Param-mitra as I said in the video at around 10:00 minutes
3. The other was as mentioned mistakenly wrote the lord of Chitra as Vishwamitra. It is actually Vishwakarma or Twastar.

Have been observing the nakshatras working in divisional charts a lot. Looking at lagna of the divisional charts. Looking at the planets lordship in rashi and divisional charts. Have seen the nakshatras in divisional charts add in a deeper flavor corresponding to the area of life represented by the divisional chart.

Also have sun and moon in Revati in 7th and I could resonate more to navamsa than rasi chart. I think once we do enough meditation we can become aware of subtler levels of existence.
You are absolutely right. I do believe that for spiritual individuals, who are more in tune with themselves their D9 chart will resonate more, simply because they are already "walking their spiritual path in life", which is indicated by D9 chart. Even though the Rashi chart events will play out, they will feel more connected with the D9 chart internally.
Now here's another question. Imagine how spiritually aware someone should be to be aware of higher divisional charts such as D60 or even D81? Probably what all the enlightened gurus are able to access within.

I have my rahu in hasta and the moments that I use my hands and invest my time into my projects, my financial accounts improve and expand. When I try to use a phone (representing rahu for me) to try and make a project easier I feel that it is harder than actually just using my hands. It makes the process feel faster and more magnetic.

They gave us all simple drawings as ideas, but I thought this isn't an everyday opportunity, so I'm not indenting a simple drawing on the bronze plate. Also I am looking at the buffalo as the vahana of Lord Yama . He was a form of Shiva. Yamaloka in the south called the pitru loka also known as corvi constellation. Brilliant, brilliant work Pai team! Each one of you put forward enlightening points. It seems like Hasta is a very fertile nakshatra in that it incorporates various permutations and combinations of kriyas. What drew my attention the most in this video was the connection between ashvini, bharani and punarvasu, as presented by Dr. Togi. I wish we could hear some more on that. I have always felt that Hasta and Bharani have a very close connection with each other. Another interesting point worth noting in this presentation is the point raised by Eve ji about being humble and human lest the siddhis get the better of you (cf. Krishna/kamsa connection). It seems like Hasta is also sharp like Krittika (spear/scissors/sword/knife). In the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, the queen of swords represents a widow/separted/world-wise/sharp woman who cuts through lies and deception (hasta: widow-maker nakshatra). Mercury in hasta gives a good grasp on vocabulary too. Dr. Kanholi's observation of Hasta in regards to the names of the Sun was brilliant! The study of names is called onomastic analysis, if i am not wrong. I also thought of handwriting analysis. Mercury in Hasta with a twelfth house connection can make one an interpreter of dreams/symbols and extremely intuitive. The point on laughter/humour was spot on. Also, Hasta gives youthful appearance.
P.s. Bharani moons are usually impregnated with multiple ideas to the point that it feels like the carefully collected and sorted thoughts may slip away in no time. To a Bharani native, their insights manifest almost like a flash of lightening and disappear just as quickly.

I have Mars in Hasta, but retrograde. With saturn retrograde in Chitra. Both in the 3rd house. I'm a bit of a butter fingers. Tried learning veena but it was disastrous! But I have this habit of rubbing and staring at both my palms a lot and rubbing my face with both palms. And a habit of repeatedly washing my hands. I'm a solicitor, can write for pages and pages. As a hasta native I absolutely loved listening to this! I had so many alignments with aspects discussed here. One thing that really made me laugh was “hasta people are always punctual” -No! However it’s one thing I have to work in continuously so perhaps it will be come true for me as I continue to mature. Hasta and Ashlesha not much compatible. Need more charts to test but I have seen in few cases.
Hasta lord is Moon, while for Ashlesha its Mercury. Moon and Mercury not compatible. Hasta is 5th nakshatra from Ashlesha too, which is Prayatak or obstacles in Navtara system. Snake was an obstacle in the path of crow.
