Wow Karl, your older videos seem to be some of the best stuff you produced! I noticed that in most of your older videos, your in full kit. I'm glad these videos keep popping up in my feed, definitely love watching the origins of TR! Great stuff!!!🤜🤛🇺🇲🇺🇲
Great drill and targets. For us in the burbs it is impossible to do if we do not have a private range. Local ranges would have a fit if we did this at their range.
Thank you Karl! I'll have to get some of those targets. Thank you for the content you provide, there's not too many channels like this that are ran by former SF guys. I just discovered you a few days ago. I'm in the process of buying my first AR-15 , a S&W M&P15 Sport 2. From what I've seen it covers most bases for its price. I look forward to taking some classes to build on what I learned in the Air Force Security Forces.
+Tactical Rifleman Which CQB school do you recommend best? Also, I want to learn Filipino Kali, know any schools that teach you what you need quickly like you're taught? Don't want to attend monthly classes.
If you are in the military, I recommend you reach out to Tier-1 Group (t1g.com), and set up some training. If you are a civilian, there are lots of good shooting schools out there that are affordable. That said, if you want to train where America’s finest train, you too can reach out to Tier-1 Group. 95% of what they train the military, they can also train civilians and the other 5% you don’t need. Kali knife fighting takes time and I personally think it is worth taking the weekly classes where available. However, if you need combat skills (dirty & not politically correct), you can get a quick class from T1G’s instructor. Chad is going to be rough on you, but you’ll learn fast. Reach out, and we’ll custom-tailor you or your unit a training course that covers everything that you need or desire.
Tactical Rifleman Thank you sir for the info and channel. Most dojos will get you killed which is why I seek professionals. I will reach out. Strength & Honor
Thank you great video, You are very easy to understand, clear and to the point. I feel that I can free hand draw these targets close enough to run this drill. I also have the add advantage of my job keeping me out in the middle of nowhere Wyoming hunting predators that are killing livestock. Miles and miles of open country and plenty of time to practice. Thanks again.
Awesome video on the way you use different types of Rifles and other and other types of pistols too and ..New target's too.and drills that you too for being in combat training thank you
great video. I do similar shooting drills I just don't have targets like this I use cans and other targets that react. my range is cool if you pick up after you make a mess.
Wasn't able to find their website. Skeleatargets showed up on Amazon, but they were unavailable. Still an awesome concept, so, I'll just draw and color/paint my own targets and do some drills I already know.
If you're engaging a target in CQB, and you can see that they have a plate carrier on do you still fire center mass?? What would be the firing sequence that you would use?? Thanks in advance 👍🏻🇺🇸 great videos
Smiffer Smaffer Excellent question, to which there are many schools of thought. Your reaction and response would vary by the actual situation, such as distance between you and the attacker(s). Assuming you are talking about very close ranges (inside a room), I would still start center mass of the torso. Why? Ask yourself "if he had a AK-47, could he possibly miss me at this short distance?" Answer is: No. Therefore, you have to hit him BEFORE he can hit you. So, start center mass, where you can hit fast. Knock him off balance. Then, keep shooting and walk that sight picture right up into his brain housing box. Eventually, your rounds will start finding meat. This is called a "Zipper Drill," and we have a separate video for it. Thanks for the comment. Strength & Honor, TR.
@@TacticalRifleman x2 on this. Up to 3L of blood can pool in the pelvis. Zipper drill should get rounds through the pelvis, rounds in the middle of the group impact plate carrier then top of the group should ideally impact clavicle, manubrium and face
Awesome training tool here Karl!! Thanks for posting the Short Videos, it helps to get guys like me back and watch the entire process. Oh, and by the way, I’m busy one level below Average Joe. I think it’s called Rookie or FNG. ✌️🤩 Thanks SGM.
First off Thank you for your service my family and I are grateful to you and yours. I love the videos. Also I was wondering about your rifle and how you have it set up. Particually your muzzle break and is it suppressor ready?
@@TacticalRifleman I ended up emailing the owner and he sent me the drills. Seems like a cool guy, good drills and good targets, bummer they went out of business. Thanks for the reply by the way!
Great target I bow hunt everything ,I harvest a lot of deer an we have anatomy targets so you know ur hitting double lung or a heart shoot ,spine .an the 3D targets have the heart lungs on them .you got too now where an what ur hitting .👍👍awesome video as always
Check out Dave Spaulding's downloadable target at his Handgun Combatives website. It is printed on long copy paper and superimposed over a normal target.
Randall, I agree. However, you have to have a standard to measure where your assaulters’ skill levels are at. So, we have a whole battery of these tests. Thanks for watching, TR
It is one of my pile of ARs. ARs are like Legos, so we don’t usually play favorites and pimp individual brands. Most are good, many are great. OK, because I know you will keep asking… Lower has a Timmy Trigger; it is a LaRue upper with a AAC muzzle brake; Aimpoint on a raised LaRue mount; needed to clear the Armasight VIS & IR Laser/Illuminator; Surefire vis light mounted on right side.
Hi there! Everything is great and blah, blah...but why all the shooting is not on the move...and also I've got some questions speaking of priority of hiting the targets, I mean I don't think that in real sceneario the second bad guy will be waiting for you to put down 4 shots in the fist guy. Explain this pls. Thx.
It is a Safariland ALS Holster, fitted with a Safariland Drop-Offset mount, to lower the gun a couple of inches. I don’t like drop-leg holsters, because they will wear a hole in your leg if you have to do any long movements in them. Don’t believe me? Try to find a picture of an military unit doing a 12-mile road march wearing drop-leg holsters… It sucks. So, after having to do many offset infiltration ops to sneak into the target areas, I no longer run a drop-leg holster.
Keenan, I was actually using a G-34 in that video, because that was what I grabbed that morning. I usually use a G-23 (with 9mm Lone Wolf conversion barrel), which is the same size as a G-19. I carry it because that is what most of our students are running. Also, my draw is a little quicker with the G-19/23. I don't care what pistol you decide on, so long as you practice and push all of it into your subconscious. Thanks for watching. TR.
Tactical Rifleman hmm no shit wouldn’t have guessed that I always thought most SF/seals ran the sig 226. That’s my weapon system of choice same thing my father ran in IRAQ for years. Thanks for the response, love the vids keep it up 👍
These videos blow away basically everything else that's similar on UA-cam.

Great drill and targets. For us in the burbs it is impossible to do if we do not have a private range. Local ranges would have a fit if we did this at their range.
I do stuff like this all the time at my range they are cool it is out door 200 yard and we can shoot full mags. where do you live? I mean what state?
Awesome targets and drills. Definitely getting these. Thanks for sharing this evolution with us!
I watched this, along with two or three other videos. May be my new favorite channel. Subscribed.

If you're engaging a target in CQB, and you can see that they have a plate carrier on do you still fire center mass?? What would be the firing sequence that you would use?? Thanks in advance 👍🏻🇺🇸 great videos
Smiffer Smaffer just my opinion. Plates fail and static energy hurts. Shoot it until it stops.

Interested in these targets. Are these guys still in business? Their website no longer exists. Where can I get these targets? Thanks!
Check out Dave Spaulding's downloadable target at his Handgun Combatives website. It is printed on long copy paper and superimposed over a normal target.
Where can these targets be purchased? The website does not work.
Shooting in 5 seconds do sound like quite a challenge.
I never think points in training. I think shot placement, grouping, and accuracy.
Speed comes with time and training.
I like the drill ideas though

im guessing EG is out of business? website is down and targets are unavailable everywhere
Sorry, This video is over a year old... I’ll try to find similar drills somewhere else
He was slapping the fuck out of that rifle trigger in the beginning
Thanks for making the video. Whats 2 levels below average Joe?...🙂
Not sure
If only I had the land, or the range that would allow such drills to be run.
if only guns were not hard to get in here. 😞🇳🇿
