Horses of History - Baloubet du Rouet | FEI ICONS

At the end of the 1990s, an FEI World Cup superstar was reaching the peak of his career - the brilliant stallion Baloubet du Rouet that was ridden by the World and Olympic champion Rodrigo Pessoa. Baloubet du Rouet won many of the greatest international Jumping competitions, but it was in the FEI World Cup where he made his name as one of the greatest Jumping stallions. Together, the Jumping pair won a record of three times back to back - Helsinki 1998, Gothenburg 1999 and Las Vegas 2000. Relive those iconic moments of this Horse of History once again!

His performance in Athens 2004 was iconic. Baloubet was vilified in Brazil after failing to win a medal in Sydney 2000, so the comeback 4 years later was rather emotional to watch. Thanks, Rodrigo and Baloubet!
