Yes, in a way, everything is bad ;) That's why, in my opinion, we should mostly focus on reducing our consumption. Where we buy is secondary if we strive to shop intentionally and only buy things we actually love, need and wear.
Two former executives from the LVMH luxury group have joined Parisian label Sézane at the start of 2023, taking over two key positions. I think that’s why sezane changed!
Absolutely agree that the fashion industry is not sustainable at all. There are already so many beautiful well-made garments in the world, we really don't need any more.
Hate how it’s just a complete guessing game- you wonder if it’s worth it to actually aim higher and spend more per piece since money spent really does not seem to = quality
I am really torn on synthetics. I don’t think they should be as prevalent as they are; however, I’m extremely allergic to several animal fibers (wool from goat and sheep, angora, etc). So, I do think there is a problem. No doubt, and I have bought ethical or second hand over 90% of the time for years. I just don’t know that I foresee a future for cold weather items for me that don’t involve polyester.

It sounds like you're doing a great job, especially when it comes to something so personally challenging! Remember that our best is enough
