The thing I love about the baroque and earlier music idioms is not necessarily the style itself, but how free and comfortably it lets the music and performers express themselves. I wouldn't consider baroque music to be my favorite, but I really think it really some of the most successful music, in those terms. I think this performance is a great example of that.
