@@amos9804 Yeah but loud had advantages like 2 map bans that they used to ban both fracture and split which are optics best maps. They also had the first pick. So Optic was beating loud on loud's best maps. Loud was supposed to win 2 of the first 3 maps but optic stepped up. Even on breeze which is optic's usual perma ban and worse map optic beat loud.
Huge GG to both Optic and Loud. Would have been great to see either team win. Congrats to Optic for winning from the region which receives by far the most hate.

you simply can't reliably predict anything in VALORANT, not from statistics at least. ZETA is a prime example. Optic proved itself as the best team in the world, happy
for NA, this would be the 2nd masters their region has won! This Masters has really stirred up the competitive scene, the so-called minor
regions have proven themselves no slouch and something to look out for EMEA and NA. Definitely proved the people wrong yesterday that were saying no one would care about a NA vs BR final. If Loud showed up, this would've broken the all-time viewership record easily, oh well... can't wait to see how stage 2 plays!!!

faze was never a t3 team bruh, it was a t1 team in terms of expenses, infrastructure and salaries. but too bad they couldn't see the huge potential in marved, he deserved better he got it. But, an actual t2-t3 team was andbox, where they snatched yay from, and we all are glad that he didn't get stuck in such a roster when he had a bright future in a good team.

Imo, I'll give the Hero title to Team Secret for Champions 2021. They were the underdog of that event, a team that's never been heard before made it to the Playoffs even though they got 2-0 right away

Tbh I predicted this long way back at the be9 of the Masters 1 Reykjavik 2022, that OpTic would be lifting the trophy. I mean every team has their own strats and game sense but OpTic had the synergy of their own. By looking at them you can feel there's a hunger for the win. Wow, the checkmate on 8:34, the amount of respect LLL placed for a 2v1 is insane.
Here's the play:
Situation: 2v1 scenario, Door closed, Sova w/ ult.
8:34 - Killjoy doesn't destroy door making Crashies think both players are probably positioned at Heaven. This is big because if Crashies knew Killjoy was at doors, he would've planted safe and he had the time to do so.
8:37 - First Sova Ult looks to tag Crashies and get info on his plant spot, didn't find one but denied plant and forced Crashies to make an audio cue. This confirms Crashies' location.
8:39 - Second and Last Sova ult prevents Crashies from planting in a safe position away from the door swing, taking the plant down and making it winnable.
8:40 - The audio cue, The Sova ult, The uncertainty of Killjoy's location, and the time allowed Killjoy to swing at this moment leading to a 100% win guarantee for LLL on this round.

Great tournament , but for me until they call an audience and bring better casters the hype will never be as much as CSGO. The teams did well but I was never too excited for a match.
Yeah the casters are sometimes cringe af. Always try to hype up something using unsuitable words, like when Zeta beated Prx, she said something like "the impossible had happened" and i was like wtf zeta and prx are quite at the same level, how tf is that impossible?

are you stupid? Losing upper finals gets you to play more maps in order to get back. That's why there's a thing called lower finals. Despite that LOUD had every advantage they had against Optic and still lost without winning a single map
yeah I also think that it's a problem. People would think that the upper bracket finalist would have more time to rest but you can also argue that this period of rest puts them off or messes with their mental. Meanwhile, your enemies are pretty much warmed up by the time you play.

They were 3-0ed in the grand finals, and were sent home to bronze fans very quickly. They have 3 Ls in their name for the 3 Ls received in the grand finals.
