On one hand I like DFD's Cannon section because it comes down to just execution and not gear checks or anything fancy so it's easier to explain the fight. On the other hand it drags on for a bit too long thus making runbacks against the boss a snooze fest. IDK if this beats MDFA for me but at least atm gripes aside I think it's a pretty good fight. Good Bow showcase as usual dude! =]
Quick question argus, why is the bow PB attack so inconsistent? Is it because of the piercing properties of the hit? sometimes it hits twice then there's other times where it hits 4-5 times, while katana regardless of target gets it full PB hits everytime, would like to hear your thoughts
Bow PB hit registration can be bit weird imo, and has a very inconsistent hitbox check depending on where you aim VS enemy parts as well. Clear LoS is pretty important when using bow PB. Upon finishing its long prep time, you fire a nuking arrow that deals "5-hits damage" almost instantly, which happens most of the time from my personal experience using the weapon. If something spontaneously move out of your PB aim, especially at the time the damage occurs, it's very likely that you can "miss" some of the hits. So yeah, a bit of position prep in advance and knowing how the enemy move/behave can minimize the inconsistency though. The damage between katana and bow PB is very neglectable if you ask me (3912 katana vs 3960 bow). The decision making here is often "I want to screen-clear, maybe warp to boss & get consistent PB output" OR "I want concentrated damage on singular target, and probably instant-charge my next Bow Attack Impact for continue burst". Luck you only need ONE Bow PB hit to charge BAI lmao. But securing all PB hits is still something you want to do every now and then.
On the JP side, it's still alive and kicking somehow lmao. It's understandable in Global due to stigma and just general dissatisfaction from the direction that the game goes. It takes so long for something to happen. Something to feel right. Something that respect player time, investment, and trust. Something that really make "PSO" a PSO game. Still, if you got bunch of friends or active acquaintances that still play and fuck around in this game, NGS still gives you a good, heart-felt time every now and then. It's Mr. Bone's Wild Ride (TM) we are living in, and most of us are too damn sick of over-abundant scratches and recycled contents when a novelty one takes 3-4 months to happen. Why the hell can't the dev team be more transparent with us on all things we are complaining? Stop using Hiro and Yui as your PR shield and come out to talk to us with update like other games! I sometimes despise the time spending here, but I just have my agenda to fulfill when it comes to Braver and the Bow, so that's why I'm staying until I feel "it's finally done/over, I did want I need, time to move on". Other than that, treat the game similar to your typical mobile gacha game where you either spend 5 minutes on dailies, a bit more on weeklies, and switch to some other games that can service you far better than this. So yeah. Don't worry if you ditch the game. You are doing ok, and not really missing out on anything much.
Easy, pay to progress... And no reason to actually augment everything with the top top tier. (The game has a big lack of content). Now on the other hand... PSO and PSU are Alive and with more active players than NGS... That's sad
@@LightOfSkyFallingpso and psu do not have more active players than ngs, wtf are you smoking. also ngs is one of the elast p2w f2p mmos, so it's clearly not that.
i love how sega can hardly animate their main characters but these bosses get all the smoothest coolest animations XD its great
that moment when you realize one of your team mate's name is "Porno"

Because it's not good. There's no content. Devs just sell you gambling and never update the game. It has the depth of a puddle on a drizzly day.
