The main list on the docs page from earlier in this thread has video footage of these clears but doesn't care about the mode since it doesn't really matter, different modes don't make it easier, and we don't have a big enough number to make them different categories. However, the matrix tab does at least track when a person has achieved their Journey/Legit 21, 22 and 23 Zone clears
Its tetris but theres music and the game doesn't gradually speed up but rather instantaneously changes speed after completing a certain number of line clears. It also is not infinite with the level ending after a certain number of line clears. You also build up zone, and once fills allows you to pause the game and do what is shown in the video. There are also some different game modes. It also can be played in VR. That's pretty much the differences.
There's quite a number of differences with Tetris Effect Connected. If we're just talking about the difference between other modern tetris games and this video, then the biggest ones are: -Practice mode that allows me to top out with a clean slate and retain zone (see below) Also locks the speed at 1. -Zone. Zone is a complicated thing but the basics are: At a full zone meter, you can top out (using practice mode) and have a clean slate and retain your zone. Once you build up, you will start your 20 seconds of zone. Any line you clear will stay cleared during this time. If you top out, or time is up, zone will clear lines and end. You will also see the pieces be "pre rotated." This is a Tetris effect connected option where you can hold down a rotation button, and the next piece will come out rotated as such. Hold can be used this way too. These are called Initial Rotation System (IRS) and Initial Hold System (IHS) I used these to clear those 22 lines.
The final scene that you see. The scene after the I piece lands making a Tetris that was being added to the Perfectris (18+4=22). All the 220 pieces exploding into the screen. This is why Tetris effect is the best Tetris game ever!
Good question! Base 22 attack bonus is 10+12+20+20 iirc (62) Low numbers here because we're clearing mostly singles and doubles. 0+0+1+1+1+1+1+2+1+1+0+4+62(Bonus) equals... 75 attack

Okay so, in the settings, there's an option for IRS. Type A is the best, by most players opinions. When it's on, you can hold down a rotation button and place a block, and the next piece will turn automatically rotated in that direction. IHS is another option to look out for in settings. If you held your piece, you can hold down the button to hold and the next piece will go into hold, and the hold piece will become active.
Not bad! With some practice, you can gain speed and clear more in the future 👀 Look into 2 wide setups aswell, I see you started with a kind of mix of it with the two I's. Also look in settings for being able to see more "Next" pieces. Put it at the max, and you can see many upcoming pieces like my clip!

It got me back into Tetris after i left when my favorite Tetris game was stuck on the vita (its the psp minis Tetris that was my favorite with all those different formats). I also own the game on quest and thats fun too. Im certainly nowhere near the high level play some of these people can do. But with my disability i simply cant brain fast enough for that. Im happy i was able to beat the whole Tetris effect journey mode on easy That final level was stressful lol
