Bedwars was first Introduced on the German GommeHD Server on 2014 based on the old Game of Aero.
actually it was first introduced on xisumavoid's og server in 2012 under the name "rush". bedwars is much older of a minigame than u'd expect

I was a Roblox bedwars "og" but as the updates went by it got more p2w and sweatier (not even mentoning the hacker problem) i really enyojed the game. But now its only played by sweats and people who spent thousands of money on it. But the fact that a stolen game is one of the most popular pvp game on roblox, says alot

Everyone has the chance to use kits, and the kits aren't OP if used with a wrong strategy, people are mainly strategic with kits, and that's what people don't understand, and the sweats isn't a problem, as they're competitive people playing a competitive game, and if you get mad by loosing, you're also competitive...
The sweatier side can also exist in MC Bedwars too. I can barley survive without being killed by some sweat speedrunning a big win streak.

bruh the amount of people who think hypixel made bedwars is dumb.... the original mini game was made by xisumavoid and servers really liked the concept so the revamped it and used it, and idk which server was first to use it but no one gives him credit any more, so hypixel bedwars and roblox bedwars are equally as bad in the 'stole the idea without credit' point
as a roblox player, it’s really funny to me when i see minecraft players freak out about roblox.
like at 4:03 how some kid says hypixel should sue roblox. first off they should sue the person who made the roblox game, not the entirety of roblox. and 2nd they seem to ignore the fact that other minecraft servers steal hypixels gamemodes.

i have a really goodd memory on a minehut server when I was younger, I joined this server named "pepsi" and spent hours with these 3 random people making a pepsi themed village just to never see them again
I wouldn’t say Islands or Bedwars flat out “copied” Minecraft. I have played both Roblox and Minecraft and if you get past the general early-game of Islands it is pretty different. It has a lot of new areas and items, including pets. As for bedwars, admittedly it is pretty similar but I think kits and the general gameplay differentiates it enough to the Minecraft version.
Roblox bedwars is way worse tho, minecraft mechanics combined with roblox physics does not go well, and the items to make roblox bedwars more "unique" makes games last longer and its p2w as hell, i dont get why people think its fun, to be honest roblox bedwars does not deserve all the popularity and fame

@@canoes6899 Yeah, I would say I prefer Minecraft bedwars for that aspect. I mainly play bedwars because I love roblox islands and I agree about the p2w but last time I played (which was a while ago) they had free kits available every weeks. I wouldn’t say that completely fixes it but it’s something, I guess.
@@canoes6899 Everyone can use kits, even if you don't pay, and Roblox Bedwars is a strategic game, and to make kits OP you have to use a strategy, and that's what people don't understand, and the fact how the games are longer is something good for me, that's just how the game is and if you don't like it that's your opinion, and Bedwars does deserve it's fame, as the devs update every week and the gameplay is way different to Minecraft Bedwars's.
Yeah, as a person who plays Roblox more than Minecraft, I can easily agree with that statement. Minecraft version is the original, however the Roblox version is more customizable and unique, simply inspired by the game.

In my opinion it kinda sucks cus it’s hella p2w and pretty much impossible to have fun if you’re not sweating unless you’re playing 30v30, also the kits aren’t as fun anymore as their balance changes are uhhh… season x and farming kits is all I need to say.

Islands was actually fun in my opinion. I would play with my friends and it was super fun trying to get trophies or building my island but when they discontinued the game, it got super boring. Roblox Bedwars also used to be fun in my opinion for a few years but than it got super boring because of how pay 2 win it got and they kept adding kits which made the game just not as fun anymore. Their updates are basically all the same. They probably discontinued Islands because it wasnt making them money since it was not p2w at all really, but i still thought it was fun and I would play it everyday. Also, before I quit roblox bedwars I actually used to be very good at it and I would grind it everday, it just has became super boring after all the new content that is almost the same as the previous content

I find it quite annoying how nobody is even mentioning the fact that minecraft cost money, like 30$ but roblox is literally free, its obvious the free thing will gain more popularity and traction than the paid thing that isnt something small like just 5 or 10$ but like 30$
Minecraft also cost a lot more money to make. With Java edition really can't make money for Mojang (Since they don't have marketplace like Bedrock). Not to mention in Roblox there is SO MUCH micro transaction. Some games are the worst of both world (Pay to win with loot box?).
Also, don't forget that people have been pirating Minecraft millions of time.

I like roblox bedwars. For me it just feels better and it feels like it’s own game now. Sure originally it was a copy but right now people are kinda overreacting. I can’t even play regular bedwars since I don’t have a PC or anything so it’s my only option, but from the bedwars I’ve seen it’s just like roblox bedwars but with old minecraft’s graphics. So does bedwars have like more game modes or anything like that?

I still remember when Bedwars and Skyblock in Hypixel was neck to neck in player counts. Now Skyblock is almost always 10x the player count of Bedwars. It makes sense tho, Skyblock receives updates every week almost so yeah.
I play Minecraft and Roblox bedwars, I don't feel like hypixel bewares got stolen by Roblox, it's a different experience, yes it's the same concepts, but if u ignore the concept, it feels like another game, the kits are way better, way more game modes, and lucky blocks

ever since season 7 they just have been changing the game fundamentally rather than a normal game where you gradually watch it get better every season the game is completely different
They had to add an “og” mode which 1. Doesn’t feel the same when you consider how much the game has been through
And 2. Is disappointing that you have to go out of your way to just enjoy BEDWARS as bedwars, not skywars, not kitwars, bedwars.
It’s just exhausting.
Hypixel didnt envent bedwars, It was firstly a map built by xisumavoid, many servers adapted it but it became popular when hypixel added it
roblox creators always steal stuff from other games, for example mm2 shooting sound (originally it was used on tf2 or garrys mod idk) and they stole it
As someone who has been playing minecraft bedwars for around 5 years, but also played roblox bedwars for around a year, they are COMPLETELY different.
I'd say stolen is an exaggeration. Roblox bedwars is more of a "heavily inspired" game. Due to it also having a ton of other features it basically builds upon bedwars and either improves or degrades it. Skyblock (or as it is known now Islands) is NOT a copy at all and takes the same concept but builds its completely own game. The differences are really clear.
Whats even worse is that in roblox bedwars, there diffrent skins, which actually gives you unfair advanatge, which costs robux, making ut completely pay to win. Thats why i never play it

For all the people who post saying "ROBLOX BEDWARS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN", "ROBLOX BEDWARS IS A COPY!!", I don't see hypixel with 10 battlepasses, map voting, forging, kits, and lucky crates.. I know some of the devs and they tried really hard to make roblox bedwars unique, they took the basic idea of hypixel bedwars and put their own spin on it, it isn't a copy it's just a fun game that took the basic idea and made it their own.

Honestly, this kind of thing is normal, it happens in bigger games like Fortnite, Geometry Dash or even Minecraft. They all took inspiration from another game, but I can't say Roblox Bedwars is better because I never played it.

As being competitive player in Roblox Bedwars,I think that Roblox Bedwars just didn’t FULLY COPIED Minecraft bedwars.Cuz in roblox bedwars there are kits system,fall damage system and many more.But roblox bedwars did copy a lil bit of minecraft bedwars.
A little bit? All they did was copy minecraft bedwars as closely as possible without looking exactly the same, and adding in-game purchases to generate as much money as possible!
