  • Abul Hasan Ali Bin Uthman (Birth: November 1009 - Died: September 25, 1072) known as Ali Al-Hajwayri or Data Ganj Bakhsh. Who was a direct descendant of Imam Hasan Ibn Ali. His genealogy goes back eight generations to Hazrat Ali.[1][2] 11th-century Sunni Muslim, Sufi, religious scholar and preacher of the Ghaznavid Empire, noted for his compilation of the Kashf al-Mahjub. Ali Hajwiri is said to have played a "significant" role in the spread of Islam in South Asia through his preaching,[3] with one historian calling him "one of the most important figures in the spread of Islam in the Indian subcontinent".
