We need a lot more videos telling people about prices. They need to stop telling people in the community’s online that their busted up doll is worth $50 👀. One of my best finds was both wicked twins and girlz really rock jade complete in the same lot of 15 completed dolls for $150, which I thought was really good for the amount of dolls I got
i feel like people took older dolls or dolls that stopped getting manufactured (at the time) and started boosting up prices because it was getting harder to find them new in box after bratz discontinued …. like nothing is actually ‘rare’ about them, people are just greedy 💀 i’m pretty ‘new’ to collecting again - i stopped collecting dolls when i was extremely young but i found myself getting fascinated with dolls again, mainly bratz and i’m disappointed to see how much the dolls new in box cost before vs now.. like i saw someone selling a sasha flashback fever for $340+ 🙃 which i find appalling how black dolls from bratz are overpriced and not even accessible to black collectors who will appreciate them. it’s seriously disappointing.
100000% AGREED! I'm sure I saw that same flashback fever Sasha and I saw that price and almost threw my phone chiiiillle. But like you said, people are greedy like Felicia being the most sought after Bratz doll is interesting because she wasn't marketed enough in my opinion when we were all kids and I honestly felt like no one really wanted her (unlike most black collectors like myself because I am obsessed with her). I truly believe she is common now especially the sweet dreamz one here in the U.S. but it is sick honestly seeing people sell her for 300+ or for any Sasha doll as well or Kiana. I just hope the consumers don't fall into the trap of these scalpers.
Yes this is such a needed conversation to be had because it’s infuriating when scalpers get involved because you know that they’re aren’t actual fans, they’re just taking advantage of ppl & taking away the opportunity for fans & kids alike away from them. Hopefully this snowballs & encourages everyone within the community to stop over paying thus hopefully discouraging over pricing from sellers that sell in terrible conditions and especially scalpers. 🤞🏻

I recently got my Jade Forever Diamondz for only $30!!! I was ecstatic. I had been looking for her for months and I finally found her and I was so happy lol.

But black dolls (felicia nevra and sasha) are rarer compared to cloe and jade because retailers didn’t want “less appealing” dolls.

The only doll out of the hundreds I own that I ever paid more than £20 for was Kiana, because she looks like me and she's the only one of her kind. I took the risk and bought her for £38. She was missing some of her accessories and outfit and then the next day a seller was selling her with all of the missing items I needed with an extra doll for £23. You do give some good advice, but I would also say be even more *patient* when you can, try not to pay more than 20 for a single doll. It can be done :3. I do have to agree that the popularity of Bratz has made the prices go up which is irritating

The craziest overpricing i seen was someone on ebay try to sell a lot of like 6 busted up dirty stained gunky ugly bratz for 350 dollars and they literally admit in the description they found them in the trash i---
12:32 this literally happened with one of the "rarest" my little pony g4 brushables, I already saw 3 different listings for a rainbow flash (a pony considered the second rarest), all out of box without any of their accessories going for absurd prices, I won't be surprised if more of them start appearing tbh

A little tip is looking for them by using vague terms like "Bratz dolls" so that way, I can find them at a good price as this listing are made by people who don't really know much about the doll community and just want to sell old toys they might have around.

These days especially, they are getting quite up there in price but yesss I highly recommend starting of with the rereleases especially with them being at retail and def get the rock angelz collection as well, you won't regret it love!
I thought this was a great video. I started collecting (Barbie) in 2018 or so, and noticed a similar trend to what you said about a big increase in price recently. I am really glad I got into collecting when I did. Also I feel that there are so many more places to buy items like you mentioned, and seller’s attitudes/price expectations are totally different. I think looking at a few sites before purchasing is a good idea to find out the average price.

Walmart is asking $219 USD , $ 199 on eBay and someone online tried selling one opened, missing parts for $ 50 ! 😩 I waited and got her New in box never even opened for $25 !! On marketplace on Facebook.. Patience is key when collecting. Edit: Bratz Cameron the 20th edition doll is going for as high $65 , I found two NiB for $10 each at a local resale shop. Lmk if you’d like to have one, I’d be willing to grab him for you.
I know with the reboot announcement for monster high doll prices have been creeping up real bad the last month or two and sometimes it's laughable. I saw someone selling a doll lot of multiple Monster High dolls that were DESTROYED from being played with because whoever used MARKER on them and I'm not talking about oh a tiny dot of marker ink. I'm talking about straight up drawing poorly done make up with sharpie levels of destroyed PLUS they were missing limbs, accessories and the hair was obviously played with. They wanted at least if not more than full price per doll and I'm here like... Those dolls would only be good for parts if that or MAYBE customization with the right doll artist, but as is uh... No. It's not worth even a fraction of that because these dolls weren't even the artfully repainted, rerooted etc ones that people work so hard on and put hours into to make beautiful. It was literally just sharpie... Just no. I'm sorry, but no.

I just started my collection this week and I paid 49 bucks for an unopened Lil Bratz Sasha... and idk if it was work it but I really wanted her. And I saw lil brats like jade and jasmine and they were like 15-25 bucks. I also really want an unopened slumber party Sasha f to hat at a staggering $282 I wanna know if those are scammer prices or fair especially the lil bratz Sasha. Cool video 🤓
I recently bought 2 bratz dolls all beat up. It was from the $5 bugget line limited to walmart it was a Mygan and Cloe. There hair was a disaster i had to cute it and soon I will reroot it. But honestly Im not mad at all because the dolls were only $1.
Scalpers are just scummy scammers. Filling in pre-orders and reselling immediately for triple the price. Do not buy from these clowns. You can report on eBay for price gouging.

No one is going to sell a doll mint new in box at the prices you’re saying.
