It’s a great guitar. I had a lot of fun spending time with this instrument. Thanks so much! Really appreciate that! More content coming soon so stay tuned
Thank you so much! Thought I had replied to this comment but I guess it slipped me by. I appreciate you watching the video and appreciate your kind words!
Absolutely awesome axe! I've heard great things about Reverend guitars, thanks for showing this one off (thanks to Bob too!) Juicy plating, as always Lucas.
One guitar to rule them all !! Almost bought a Reverend Club King HB over my Vintage VSA555. The neck was superb - but they had a boost knob that was actually more of an attenuator. This model looks and sounds fantastic with the best of all features!
Sorry my friend I thought I had replied to this comment, but I guess not. These are amazing guitars, but at the same time so is your vintage.! Thanks as always for watching
Man that’s so cool! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I will say unashamedly that I was so inspired by this guitar that I ended up recording a tune off my new album on it. If you want to hear it in studio action you can go to your streaming platform of choice and check out the song “getaway” by LH Express from the album “painting stars “. :-) It’s a beast of an instrument. I really really dig the Strat meets telecaster aspects, and personally my left hand really enjoyed the neck profile as well. This one belongs to a student of mine and it was hard to give back. Haha Let me know how you get along with it 👍🏻
@@LucasHaneman I did have a listen, great song, must be fun to listen to your band live - the intro reminded me a bit of the ultimate jazz blues ear worm 'In the Summertime' by Mungo Jerry - don't know if that song would have made it as far as Canada but if not (and ignoring some of the questionable lyrics) enjoy. I spotted the now unmistakable breathy sound of the Eastsider on the solo. On the Reverend itself - I suffer badly from GAS, a latent condition that came out during lock-down and still lingers - I buy a lot of guitars but fall in love with very few - this one though, I'm actually blown away by the sounds it's helping me make - and the sheer variety. The pickups are definitely hot, but the treble rolls them back so far without ruining the tone that I can play jazzier stuff. It's a keeper! I'm going to check out more of your songs. Ciao
@@shaddow1000 thank you so much for your nice comments on the song! I took a listen to that one and you’re right it does have some similarities. Super cool track. Thanks for the recommendation! I’m glad you’re having a lot of fun with your guitar and I agree completely with you about the sound of those pickups. They are really something special! Nice and powerful with still a good amount of clarity. It’s an instrument with a vibe for sure, and I love that. Sure, feel free to check out the entire “painting stars “album. The spins really mean a lot to us. We just found out that the album debuted at number one on the roots charts in Canada this week, so we are very very grateful for that. The band used to be called the Lucas Haneman Express, and you can check out our older stuff on the streaming platforms as well if you wish.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Hopefully you’ll stick around the channel and check out some more videos. Trying to release stuff regularly. Again, thanks for watching. This was a fun guitar to review.
For sure it might be. There are quite a few offerings with 3P 90s already by Reverend and I’ve played a couple that I really enjoy. The only caveat I’d say is getting past having three P90 side-by-side. They take up a lot of room for your picking hand.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I am not an expert on the specs of the different models to be completely honest. I assume the east cider t just has two pickups as it’s most likely going for the True telecaster vibe but I really don’t know. In either case I thank you for watching the video and hope you’ll stick around the channel to check out some more. Have a good one!
That’s funny, it hits all the wrong things for me in both guitars. Three pickups, bad control layout from the tele, no arm bevel and a trem. Lol! Enjoyed the demo of course, but the guitar… Even the strandberg salen neglected the arm bevel! So much for ergonomics. Maybe one day someone will get it right! 😂
Interesting. There’s lotta different ways to make it happen for sure. This guitar certainly felt great to me.. I do like arm bevils and belly cuts on telecasters My Melancon has them, and I love the feel of that telecaster style. The lack of them on this guitar didn’t cross my mind though. Still feels Nice
Great playing!
Thanks!
Such soulful playing!! Excellent demonstration of what these guitars are capable of, beautiful transition from tele to strat neck tones!!
Thanks! I was really impressed by this one. Appreciate you checking out the video
Best demo of the Eastsider S 🎸 on the tube! Thanks!

Thanks Lucas you made my day just excellent!!@
Thanks very much Bob! My pleasure to demo this guitar and glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful job, as always, Lucas!

Juicy plating, as always Lucas.
Thanks so much Derick! It’s an awesome combination of the two worlds for sure!
Thanks, very inspiring and great playing! Wish I had your ears.
Ah you’re too kind! Thank you so much for tuning in and for those kind words! Keep on playing my friend and enjoy the journey
That's some sweet play!
Thanks!
Hi Lucas! I hope all is well in lovely Canada and your loved ones are in tip top form. Great playing as usual. Still love your playing.🎸
Thanks Brian! Everything is great over here. Just got back from a gig in Florida and getting caught up on comments! I hope you’re doing well too!

thanks - on my way to pick one of these up and this demo has made me a lot more excited about it!

I’m definitely a fan of the Reverend brand. Love mine too.
They are very cool, and have something special going on big time! Thanks for watching and commenting Arthur!
I suspect that this guitar sounds awesome because of that nice amp and of course the player!
:-) You’re too kind!
Wow! Nice guitar, very good demo but most of all: exeptional playing!!! Turned my frown upside down!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Hopefully you’ll stick around the channel and check out some more videos. Trying to release stuff regularly. Again, thanks for watching. This was a fun guitar to review.
I'm going to wait until they provide this guitar with the 3 p-90's. I have a feeling it's going to be a long wait.

Great review 👍🏽 Are the specs in eastsider s and eastsider t the same? Except bigsby.

@LucasHaneman, for sure, I will) I really enjoyed your sound 👍🏽
Came for the guitar but man your playing is soooo damn tasty!!!
Very good guitar, a slide monster too, and those pick ups, just suck the sound out the plank.
