Hey have you ever tried Minecraft’s combat snapshots? They are kinda like a mix of this version and 1.9 and you can do some really cool things on that version

Like there are combos you can do in that version that are EXCLUSIVE to that version, not possible in 1.8 or 1.9, it also has a massive variety of playstyles and combos! Not to mention, its a version that focuses specifically pvp as compared to 1.9 or 1.8 which were made for survival and balancing.
@spacecake1806 I have played CTS, it's an experimental version. It's too different to be implemented. And iirc there is no rod pvp, which is a fundamental in 1.8. Imo it's closer to 1.9 combat if anything. Which is not good because there is nothing wrong with 1.9, nor 1.8
