Great subject, and a dilemma I regularly wrestle with. I’ve pretty much got as good as I’m ever going to get, based on the limited time I set aside for sim racing each week. The only way I’ll get any better now, would be to concentrate on one car and one sim. But do you know what… I couldn’t think of anything more boring! I love the variety… if I see a combo I fancy, I’ll hop in and do it, even if I’ve not driven the car in 6 months. I only spend 2 hours a week sim racing, so I want it to be fun. Give me variety and enjoyment over better lap times any day 😃
I regularly see car-track combos that I don't even get to try out sadly due to time constraints. On average I probably get two hours a week too, some weeks are a little more crowded than others which can make life an interesting juggle. I regularly watch you swapping between iR, ACC and rF2 and love seeing the different cars you hustle around😀
1 sim for online competition: iRacing. ALL the other sims for fun AI races and hotlapping. 1 to scratch the competitive itch and the others so you get to enjoy all the features on offer from all the games.
Agree with this. I dabble in iRacing, RF2,AMS2 and Dirt rally 2. I have played a reasonable amount of ACC but I find the VR implementation so poor that it puts me off. Same with Raceroom sadly. But the 4 sims mentioned give me plenty to be going on with:).
I'm a long-suffering ACC user. Sometimes I wonder why I bother and then have a fantastic race. I'm hopeful I'll be able to pick up a 40 series later in the year without reaching for a second mortgage 😅
