Former Vikings offensive lineman Alex Boone once said on his podcast that agents get 1-2% of a players rookie deal. I believe he said that number will jump by a percent or 2 for a players first big contract.

Minnesota won the division most recently prior to last season. And got hit with Injuries hard last year. They also had a lot of uncharacteristic turnovers. Its actually a pretty decent deal the Vikings. They are already paying up 88 million up front this year. Next year the Vikings will have more cap space too so the 110 million really isn't that bad with how it structured out.
