Tough Little Ship is actually pretty easy, I did it by just jumping into an asteroid field, killing the pirate there, disabling my shields (I checked if there was a store nearby first and did the math of scrap needed before hand, it's 58) and then when one hull bar was left, jump out, and boom
Fire beam "just ignites fires" that's like saying that nukes "just blow up". Fire beams are really quite good if you have enough burst lasers to take down the shields.
it took me six years, but I have finally gathered every achievement in this game and beaten with every variant of every ship.... even the type c stealth cruiser, it was almost impossible, and I nearly starved, but I did it

I want a mod for Rodina that uses normal Rodina mechanics (sans planets) but is basically FTL otherwise, you can order around bots (and do some things yourself) play with friends or try to go solo.
With Mass Effect , 3 in particular almost every action is space bar. If I wanted to sprint to cover, take cover, pick up a gun then press a console ending with a big leap over a tiny gap I would have to press space 5 times. I think with a full play through you might press space over a hundred times.
You can actually really tell that it's in beta. A lot of things look different than they do now. Either that, or I haven't seen the PC version in a while (I play on iOS)

He is just trying to tell us that the reason he is so disturbed by this is because the steam WAS IN FACT inside of the locomotive.
There's a huge update coming to this game early next year, adding new EVERYTHINGS to it. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. There's a trailer and the likes on the FTL site.

I somewhat recent got the "repair from one UP" achievement. It was a really shitty fight near a sun, I had 1 hull and a full ftl and luckily a store in the next beacon. I jumped, Didn't have enough scrap and said "fuck it" so I sold all my weapons and everything and repaired all the way up. I was gonna die anyway with 2 crew and no weapons

in fact you want a hull repair drone it repairs 2-4 hull and its so cheap to use and its very useful in bad situations like the final boss battle.

the green shields are called zoltan shields they are pretty much just a little extra defence btw missiles cant go through them
