What I love about this channel is the realism in behaviour and personality. This doctor isn’t a robot, they call you love, ask you how you are etc. They also don’t randomly stop to tap on something and make ridiculous mouth clicking sounds as they’re looking deep into my eye balls. This channel is realistically relaxing and everything 💕
I loved this ‘super soft spoken’ style of talking you did in this video. Created such a new atmosphere in your videos and actually gave me loads of tingles, especially the parts where you do the ‘inaudible’ whispers when you’re typing. It’s hard to put my finger on it but the mix of soft spoken and whispering was just such a lovely change. Of course I love your normal style too but switching it up a bit like this totally changed the vibe and I love it!
Love when you do specific medical exams like this, you’re so good at them. Enjoyed the typing and the light exams. There were lots of different pleasant sounds too. Thank you Nic.
Just got to 26:45 and the eye chart. 😍 I loved that part with the tapping on it. I rarely get actual strong tingles anymore but that got me. It’s like when you just want to take a feeling and wrap it around yourself like a fuzzy blanket.
Regrettably, in Canada, our medical teams are under overwhelming stress with our booming population, but they still stay kind and respectful. Great relaxation, thanks. 🇨🇦
I wish all medical professionals talked and interacted with patients this way. I’d bet the white coat syndrome numbers would come down, even just a bit. I think I’d be a lot less terrified of going to a doctor or specialist. And people who have white coat syndrome avoid medical care they need because of it. As is, I never know if I’m going to get a kind person or someone who checked out long ago and is angry they have to be there. That or I get treated like medical anxiety is just being dramatic. It makes me put off medical care. If I was guaranteed this level of consideration and gentleness, it would lessen that anxiety by a lot. I wish I wasn’t scared, trust me. ASMR helps me pretend all doctor visits will be okay and I just need to breathe.
I literally saw a doctor once that asked me questions, but then interrupted me and moved on to the next before I even finished answering completely. I never went back to them. It was a specialist. Specialists are the worst! Thankfully my primary continues to prescribe me the medication I need. She is actually kind and listens.
Nic, you seem more relaxed and natural in this video than you were there for a little while. I don't get ASMR, so I can't speak to that aspect, but I appreciate the more "unintentional" style videos, they're nice and relaxing.
