Chapter 11, 'What next?': After our group photo, LK and Seungmin keep whispering to themselves on the sidelines which doesn't help my racing thoughts! 🤯💓 Chan notices the guys too, and enquires. "We think you should do this again." LK says, simply. Both he and Seungmin blinked innocently with puppy dog eyes. 🐶🥹🐶🥹 Yeah... REAL innocent?! 😂 Everyone clapped and started shouting different ideas and dates 👏 🎉🥳 "How about Christmas?!" I suggest. "Christmas!" Seungmin yells in agreement. They all turn back to me. 🥳🎄🎁❄️☃️🥹🥹🥹😍🥹🥹😊🥹 "That works," 😊 "How about our place?" LK offers. "NOT OURS." Changbin and Hyunjin chime in, simultaneously 😳😳 "Okaaay(?...)" I try to stop myself laughing at their odd behaviour 😄🤭 "LK is a great cook! Thank you! Sounds like a plan." LK and Han nod with thumbs up 😊👍😊👍 We sing our fave Christmas songs 🎅🎄🎁❄️☃️🥳🎉🙌 I start to tidy up and Hyunjin comes over to help me 🥹 "It'll go faster this way." He says moving swiftly along to pack up all the different supplies. Too quick!! He almost knocks me over but manages to grab onto me, steadying himself before he tumbles to the ground 🤭🥰 Eyes wide, he grins sheepishly, "Heh, hehe, I'm much more coordinated on stage." Ha, for real 😍😅🕺😎🌟💯⚡️🔥 All packed up and tidied away, it's almost sunset. My favourite time of the day, when the sun is low and the sky shows off it's unexpected colours. Everyday, a new "painting" 🌄🥹 "Come on," Changbin says. "We'll give you a ride back. You can dump the stuff in our cars." 😊 The rest of the guys yell in agreement. 🚗🚘🚗🚘 I squeeze into the car beside Hyunjin. He sighs as he admires the sunset from the window. He looks even more beautiful drenched in the soft amber glow of the golden sunlight 🧡 I watch him without making it obvious. Looking to the side while my head stays straight. 😏💗 But wait, did I just see his lips move?... "...take a photo to remember this moment..." he whispers... I watch as he takes the photos. He continues to stare out the window in silence. His eyes no longer looking at the sky. He seems farther away, deep in thought. He sighs deeper and the smile in his eyes return. "Today was a good day." He whispers to himself 🥲🥺 It was a sombre moment. I'm reminded how much work is involved for SKZ to be SKZ. All their long hours, practices, training, rehearsals, promo, travel, schedules... it all takes it's toll and yet I see how much they all love what they do and how much they're willing to sacrifice for this passion 🥺💝 I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder. I blink and rub my eyes. "You fell asleep. I didn't want to wake you. I'm sure you're tired." Hyunjin said softly. "You okay?" He looked into my eyes to make sure. I nod, rubbing my eyes again to make sure I'm not dreaming. His strong, sweet scent disrupted the air as I lifted my head from his shoulder. I took in a deep breath, and it filled my nose, before I gave out a happy sigh. It was so cosy against the soft fabric of his hoody. And warm too. Is this my new favourite place? I wanted to stay there. But instead I just answered, "Thanks, I think I needed that nap." 🙂 He nods. "All good. You're home." 🙂🏡 And it did feel like I was 🥲💝💖 TBC...

Genius! 👏👏 🎅🎄🎁❄️☃️ As the story seems to be progressing pretty solidly, I wondered if you might consider doing another collaboration?... 🤔 I'm toying with the idea of turning your chapters and my choices into shorts?... One chapter would be one short. I've never made shorts before but I'd like to try. I can obviously watermark the short with both yours and my channel name, credit you as co-writer (or whatever title you prefer), and put links to your channel in the description... I have no time frame and no deadline to do this as I already find posting a challenge these days and don't want to get stressed about it. But it would be sometime next year if I can dabble with the dynamics successfully 🙂 You've inspired me to get creative! I can always run it by you before publishing if you prefer. What do you think? I don't need a fancy title and I definitely dont want to see anything prior to their release! I want to have the full experience. It will be so much fun to see how it plays out. Take your time and no pressure at all. Btw, glad you liked the real time aspect of the story. That's a really good example of how I changed things during the writing process. I was happily writing away and then it donned on me that Christmas was on it's way so I shuffled my plans to have them connect to reality. 😁😀😁😀 Since you wrote poetry maybe this feeling will make sense to you even if I dont articulate it well. When things line up, they just feel right to me. So, when that landed I was like, "yes! Then I can do x,y, and z..." and more ideas flowed through. 🤓🤓

Seungmin lives up to his puppy nickname, excited at the idea! “Sure, that works!” We all agree. “How about our place?” Lee Know suggests as Han nods with thumbs up. “NOT OURS.” Said Changbin and Hyunjin simultaneously. LK races over to help me pack up. Throwing things towards me at lightning speed. His aim’s good but not great. I dart back and forth to catch his throws. “Terrible! You’re doing this on purpose!” We laugh together and when I glare at him, he laughs even more. “You just can’t win!” He chuckles with warm eyes. “Come on, we’ll give you a ride back. You can dump the stuff in our cars.” Chan says with a smile. I feel a lot for Chan, he’s the best leader and nothing can change that. But as we wind down the day and the sun is going down, I squeeze into the car next to LK. He’s deep in thought, and as the sun sets quietly, with just the rumble of the engine, I realise I’m deep in thought too, (and I realise my feelings for LK as well). “Take a photo to remember this moment…” LK mutters. LK suddenly jabs me in the ribs. “What do you think? Which photo should I post for STAY?” He shows me his phone. “They’re all great. STAY will love whichever one you post.” I answer. “If it weren’t for STAYs, I don’t know where I’d be.” I remind myself of the promise I made to always protect and respect SKZ. They work so hard for their passion, and their brotherhood remains. My mind races with ideas for the Christmas party and little ways I can help them to de-stress and re-fuel. Dare they try yoga again, hahaha. I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder. “OH MY GOSH! Did I fall asleep on you? Did I drool?! Snore?!” Laughing, LK replies, “No, no, I’m fine,” then leaning in he whispers, “ but you look like a goldfish when you sleep.” And promptly squishes my face as I squeal to let me go! “Gwenchanaaa…. You’re home little fish!” I reflect on the day while my face is still squished in his hands. Today was fun. We all had fun. LK won the game and it appears he likes me back! 🎉 I got to ride next to him and he’s invited me to spend Christmas with him and the guys at his house! There are lots of good things to come! LK said earlier “I just can’t win.” I beg to differ Mr. know… I have 🥲 TBC
