Hi Todd. I really have enjoyed this series. I have a shrub planting on our farm in northwest Ohio. Bare root planting this spring. We have a great survival rate, but are starting to see the browse pressure. I was considering caging all individual shrubs, but noticed on your video you have utilized electric fence. planning to try this instead. Any specific pointers? Have you utilize this through the fall and winter?

It is really awesome to watch you develop this property. I hope you begin to reap the benefits in a few years. Great job!

Looks like you have a bad marestail problem, they are usually gly resistant. My favorite shrubs for the midwest are fragrant sumac, sandhill plum and they aren't bothered by deer.I have planted around 5000 of them.Keep up the good work

Yes, that stuff sucks. I am working on getting that under control. Thanks for the advice on those varieties. I also like the buttonbush.

It's always fun to see people think they can control animals! That being said I hope it works for you. Good luck this year.

Yeah Yeah Yeah.... It's a little crazy, but I want this planting to work.

@@ToddGraf1 I get it I wish I could afford to do stuff too. Right now I'm only mowing a small chunk of land and trying to grow turnips and radish on it. Just for a little something. It's hard , and I spend too much on other gear to. I almost bought a cell camera today, but I haven't run trail cameras in 5 years so I was like why do I need a cell camera.
