Lizard back home after running amok on Phoenix freeway

Around 6:45 a.m., a large lizard was seen on the side of Loop 101 at Cave Creek Road. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the animal is a monitor lizard.

How is a monitor a pet? Shout out to the guys at the Herpetological Sanctuary. For those that have never been there, you are missing out. It happens to be the nation's largest reptile sanctuary. It's bomb!
