hmm i think it might be price point issue. Having to fit buzz inside meant blowing up the size of Zurg which means more piece count.

I think the reason for why the original Zurg didn’t have a cockpit was to avoid spoilers. But, you did a great job with the redesign. Very faithful to the original source.

I personally would be interested in seeing a mecha with full leg motion that a human has to the point that it could do a Slav Squat. I wonder if that is even possible to make stable.

I did this a few months ago and was ultimately impressed by my own detail, but the proportions were off.
The official lego zurg looks absolute shit compared to yours, yours actually looks like zurg and looks cool unlike the lego's

much better. I like the original but the knees on mine...too weak. I definitely do not trust those knees. Why they made them like that is beyond me, they are so weak.

Since you upgraded this Zurg, you should try to make Zurg from the mobile game Disney Mirrorverse. He looks way WAY better than this Zurg. Here's a picture.

What LEGO offered is extremely lackluster and very greedy for its price; it's even more of a shame to know that this is happening with even more sets, too. I haven't got around to seeing your redesign just yet, but LEGO needs to buck up and get a few things from it!
You should also try recreating the new Hulkbuster set into the Death Egg Robot from Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
I realy hated how in the movie, Zurg's blaster was in his left arm when Toy Story 2 clearly shows that he holds his blaster in his right hand.
And every day I only get more and more angry about this movie's stupid plot twist.
What about his jet pack, when he battling with buzz like he was diving his XL-15 spaceship?
everythings great, but the shoulder width and biceps are now under proportioned (too small) from the film compared to the rest of the body which you have upscaled.
My lord thank the heavens above we have you if we didn't I don't know where I would be in Lego mech building...🙂

Feel like the arms are a little too short and not bulky enough, looks uneven compared to the legs. The arms don’t even reach past the waist I don’t think, which is usually normal for humans so I think it should be modeled in the build. The legs and torso look badass though.
Who knew building it with a bigger scale let you add extra detail. I feel like this isn't "fixing" the original set, its more making a new version of it.
I feel like the arms needed more bulk, but apart from that it's perfect! 9/10!!!
