Hey man, been watching your videos... keep them coming! You're an important voice on UA-cam about breaking the stigma about SSRIs. Quick question, my doctor increased my prozac dosage about a week ago from 30 to 40mg... is it normal to feel increased anxiety and tiredness during a dosage increase? Thank you!
@@aaronsanxiety3571 In your experience talking to other people going through this, how long do dosage increase symptoms usually last? Longer than 1-2 weeks? Thanks
@@JR-gr4xp I upped my dose accidentally and felt this . Extreme tiredness , anxiety even some depression.. I think the depression is coming from being afraid of the change in the way I feel . I’m right here with you bro
Watching your videos helps me out a lot. I’m on lexapro and I start my 10mg dose tomorrow morning. I’ve been having really bad anxiety & panic attacks for 2 weeks straight but I’m hopeful that the lexapro will help me the way it helped you & the Facebook group is great a lot of support.
Hey dude, hope you are well and good. Be nice if you did an update video. I recently just past 18 months on Zoloft/Sertraline. Life is way easier and I have noticed big changes in my anxiety. However the god damn weight gain is my constant battle, I have gained around 35 pounds in the time I have been on the medication, I eat way more food and all the wrong types haha. I am trying to learn more about the science behind the weight gain to help me lose a little as I am self conscious about it. Weight gain aside, my anxiety and general mood is very good. It’s little things you notice on way that make you notice how far you’ve come.
@@lifegoeson6136 -- It's happy eating. The pill is less than 1 calorie.... assuming you aren't accidentally swallowing the extra food daily, the weight gain is happening because you feel better.
Thank you for mentioning the jaw clenching ! I just came back from the dentist to get fitted for a night guard because it's only happening during sleep. On 5 mg for the last 2 months and I'm not sure of a tweak to 7.5mg may be the trick cuz my anxiety has been back a bit and motivation low over the last week or so, but they might be life... Not dosage
Aaron just started Lexapro because I believe I have severe anxiety since early December from trauma...been to several doctors because I have a daily symptom that is destroying my quality of life from my knees on both legs up my thighs I feel so much anxiety in them and feel like I have to stretch all day long...all doctors saying my blood work is perfect and my neurologist says I'm okay but I don't have MS or anything.... It's hard to believe that this could be anxiety..... One doctor said I need to see a psychiatrist now I'm at Lexapro day number 7 so far feeling worse and more agitated
The first time I started lexapro I discovered your videos. I took it for 14 months and slowly tapered and got off it like my doctor advised. After 4 months of stopping it my anxiety seems to be back and doesn't seem like going away. Waking up daily with it. So exhausted. You think this is a relapse my doctor says I can start it again. I'm just afraid that I might be on it forever. Is that what people do? Does it keep helping u or u develop a resistance? I was perfect on it for 14 months stopped it as though I'm cured now. Just after 4 months it's all coming back
What’s up brother, I still look you up when I have some odd day. Any how I came across your Chanel when you started lex and 2 week later I started and been on it after you.. hope your doing well brother. Ohh I forgot I have one question for you, how you deal with the weight gain?
Hey i am 8 months in 7.5mg before i was around 6 months in 5mg. Since a day or 3 my symptoms are back. After i take my dose (7.5) it feels like i started from 0. I just dont know if the meds are kicking in and it will level out or i have to up my dose to 10.... i will go and see my doc today.
Hey, Aaron! Thanx for ur videos. They are so hopeful. Btw did u have anxiety the worst at the time when u wake up from sleep? Like someone is tearing ur heart apart.
I wake up very early with anxiety during sleep. It's the worst it's like your chest will bust. I started lexapro n kept taking 10mg for 14 month. It changed my life. After 4 months of stopping it my morning anxiety is back. I'm thinking of getting on it again. I just want to know if anyone here can tell me if v can be on it n never stop it
Hey Aaron. I just started Lexapro. Tonight will be 5th day of 5mg . I have had some burning sensation in my body. I looked it up and says it's normal to feel this. It's like a hot flash and bad anxiety at once. Does this sound normal to you. Have you ever heard of this? Please comment back. Thanks!
I started lexapro Oct 7 and I still have really bad anxiety that’s 3 months should I try going up or try something else I’m still having increased anxiety from beginning it just trying to figure out if it’s normal to still have side effects at 3 months
Hey brother i need your help.. i been going mad crazy the past few months seems like i have eveloped an anxiety panic over well being etc.. after several doctor visits (different ones) they all somehow seem to say i have anxiety causing me hyperventilation / overbreathing.. is this a common trait of anxiety.. where you wake up breathing heavy sometimes.. feels like u are breathing fast and deep through your nose sometimes even feeling your not getting enough oxygen .. some mornings i even wake up feeling soooo tired and drained with no energy seems like its from breathing too hard, chest also feels tired like been running all day.. does this sound familiar in anyway ? This alone gives me anxiety over my health. The doc prescribed me 5 mg lexa .. should i go on it ? Your input would be much appreciated brother you are awesome.

Yes, this story sounds the same as many of our stories. After a few weeks the anxiety should start to subside. And slowly life gets better.
