I love that color. I would call it chestnut, and I don't think I have seen this color often. Both the style and color look very natural. Doesn't look like it wants to flop in your face, which is good. You could get a Tina Turner look.

Taz, I bought this wig in Rosewood Brown Shaded immediately after seeing this review. I, too, have a “pinhead” (😆) and the fit is indeed dreamy. This color is absolutely gorgeous; it’s kind of a dark version of BT’s Strawberry Shortcake. I must thank you for helping me to style my wigs, Taz. I’m about 4 years into my wig-life and I’m finally coming into my own with YOUR styling tips. YOU ARE HEAVEN SENT!

Wow! What A beautiful color and style! My only bummer with several of the Ellen Willie styles is the lack of a lace part or when she does the little sliver of lace on the front. Especially given the prices. :( Its so nice to see an extended lace front even if its shallow. I saw a video that gave an excellent tip to stop tangling, I used it on my Tabu and the difference was AMAZING! I truly love this color though I have to say! Great option for dipping your toes in the fashion color waters

Hi Michelle! Isn't it crazy how extreme the weather gets up there? Arctic cold in winter and jungle heat in the summer! Max may be going to live with my son. He and his fiance just love him so much and are looking at adopting a cat. I never want to part with Max, but at least I would have visiting rights! A grand kitty..lol! He does make it hard on Neko.. she is old and doesn't like all the wrestling and romping. Love and hugs! XOXO

Great review as ever. I have this style in Champagne shaded/shadow (?) and I love it, although it didn’t suit me straight so I used my curling iron on it (it took heat well). Mine seems longer than your for some reason (and my face is much longer than yours!) As you always say - they’re all different. It is a bit ‘tangly’ but them most are.

I'm not a huge fan of shag styles but ...OMG ... I love this color! With my 22.5" circumference, I don't think I can wear Ellen Villa, which is too bad because that is just a phenomenal color! I would wear this shade everyday over the summer and then go back to my BT Mocha with Cream in the fall, if I could. I am kind of bummed this won't work for me but I loved the review. Thanks again for all of your hard work!
Hello Kelly! Some Ellen Wille's would work well for your circumference, but its so hard to know! Like the Esprit style was so large I could not wear it. I wish their sizing would remain consistent at least. If you like this color, you may also enjoy the Belle Tress Nutella Buttercream:-) XOXO

Oh TAZ!! I have been looking and “RE-Loving” your videos after I saw your “Top 5 Mistakes” INFORMATIVE clip. I was thinking I should stay away from the REDS and go for Shaded Bisquet. Then…!!! GREAT review; inspired me to try the Luna in Chocolate shaded, for my petite sized head (21.25/11 ear to ear/ 13 f2b) ... I am also thinking of keeping my newly ordered Alive, although there does seem to be a fair amount of stretch at the top back crown/cowlick area that I am not sure is normal and only is noticeable when I grab it (but then, I can hold 3+ inches of excess...) They both have amazing layers which is indeed fun AND flattering, so I"ll be curious to see how the Luna compares... Finally, Ill be receiving the Ocean, and will make my choice among these (to me) similar styled wigs.
In the year since you did this fab review, can you report how well the LUNA fibers have faired (compared to tabu, for example) in terms of "snagging and tangling". I can't afford too frequent replacement of wigs, and would prefer investing in those that -- with extreme care -- will be most durable and long-lasting....
I am just 2 weeks into 'wig world' and exploring and discovering which styles suit and fit me best. The Ellen Wille Miley mono small seems to be ideal for me, and I am also considering the Melody(which is A DREAM in its feel and overall quality, imho) and the Touch (which seems MUCH lower quality in terms of fiber and finishing touches, but is a fun shape and amazingly light and perhaps ideal for oppressive summer hear). If there are any others (even other brands that offer smaller/petite sizes) that you think I should consider, I would LOVE to hear your recommendation...I have of course subscribed to your channel and selected to be notified when EVERY new review of yours is released.

Luna is on my list, I have EW Delight in Rosewood. As you said, it would cost an arm and a leg to get that color in a salon....and how long would it last? It wouldn't!
