I’m actually really enjoying your horseless videos with pontification! I’ve watched your sister for several years and have enjoyed the material. She’s been putting out as well. I come from an eventing background, but always took the dressage very seriously. I was trained, however, originally in the world of saddle seat and Arabian park courses, and went through Meredith Manor, and graduated so before there was a “natural horsemanship” community or before there was a horse whisperer or any of the other *Now popular techniques, we were taught many of these “natural” methods. I love that the world of competitive dressage riders are starting to, look back and embrace some of these things. Keep asking questions! I have found the world of working equation, a beautiful balance to use classical dressage and obstacles that make sense to the horse and rider to be very helpful in growing the relationship with the horse. I wonder if you have had any exposure to that sport?
We are showing 3rd and working on 4th Level so this information is hugely helpful! Thank you Joseph!
