You cant get to much power from 220v motor on 12v. You have 2 options 1. Is to rewind motor with thicker wire less turns(go get same power on 12v as on 220v 15 times more thicker and 15 times less turns) 2. To increase voltage(much more for example 100v to get 1/4 of power on 220v.
you can try 45 volts / 5 Ampere DC inverter as the power supply , for better speed. Coz it's look that the RPM is drop after you modified that drill machine

Simple question. Simple answer. Most A.C. equipment will work on both DC and A.C. because they are Universal Motors with wound rotor and field coils. But care must be taken not to use high amperage. Car starters are also into that category.
One more thing. Even if you don't fit magnets in place of the field coils, you may still run power tools on dc because they are universal motors ( rotor and field wound). The voltage may need to be higher than 12 volt. Around 60 to 80 volts DC. Warning! Only experienced individuals should try out such experiments. It involves high amperage and can be hazardous.

Correct. But if the "Hammer" function is kept, then it does drill through concrete. For metal you don't need hammer stroke. I used Neodymium magnets which are far more performing and take less space. I converted one 650watts and one 850watts already. No problem.

Ну и очевидно, что аппарат теперь меньший КПД отдаëт. И что этой дрелью можно сверлить, и какими свëрлами, хрен его знает.

with an air gap larger than 1 mm between the armature and magnet, the motor will not have much torque.

Talvez se reaproveitar imãs de HDs de computador que são de neodímio por serem mais "fortes" deve melhorar o torque.
To develop more power it needs a magnetic return path between the two magnets. A steel tube around them would do.

Якорь от стартера туда впихнуть , вот тогда будет дело. А так эта обмотка максимум 5 ватт даст у 500 ватной дрели .
Не ошибся, в США сетевое напряжение меньше в 2 раза , дрель наверно на 110 вольт , следовательно 10 Ватт выйдет , хватит в зубах поковыряться )))

Так якорь перематывать надо. Где-то был ролик похожий, там перемотал якорь, дело пошло.

Desculpa induzido de 220v e não 110 v.....apesar que o induzido sendo 220 volts iria rodar muito lentamente em 12 volts.
