Bravo, Noel. You really nailed this one. I don't know how many times I've done this. It's both exciting and gutting. You've perfectly captured the sentiments of we itinerant pilot as we open new chapters. "It's an extra 20 minutes in Lima Bravo." Thank you headwind. 🤗🥰
Aww,I’ve been watching you for years now and this was very emotional to watch. Thank you for taking us with you on your amazing adventures and making us all feel part of the family. Looking forward to many more years of inspiration, adventure and seeing how you and your family grow. Won’t be long before Sam has his own flying channel 😊
Really appreciated your videos over the years, and hopeful that you can eventually continue across the pond once you and family have settled. Wish you all the best Sir with the move and thanks for all your fantastic videos. 👍✈✈✈
Just to echo the other comments thanks for all the videos, we have really enjoyed watching them and they have inspired us all. Enjoy your adventures in the U.S and hopefully see you in the air again over there soon
Dear Mr Phillips, thank you for your time on U tube, I really do enjoy your travels . My wife and have traveled extensively, however due to I'll health one of us can no longer travel, so we look forward to travelling across the USA with you and your family.
I started my flying training at Leicester, I did my first solo in MK. I did my instructor rating there too, where I flew GW and HEN primarily! It's a great airfield, I always enjoy flying back in there myself.
Watching the pleasure LB, OM and (at times) YT have given you has made me so glad to have played a small part in your journey so far, and I can’t wait to see your next US aviation chapter!
I had no idea when I joined your Patreon a month ago that I would be watching you fly into Leicester Airport on your last trip in the UK. I have been holed up in that place since June and now just waiting for better weather to finish my ppl! Leicester is my new happy place - I decided to learn to fly after watching many of your videos and those of Petter Hornfelt (Mentour Pilot). I can honestly say that at 52 years is of age and a recent empty nester, flying is the best thing I have ever done. Thanks for playing a part in giving me a love for aviation. I just wish I had been there that day you visited! It was weird seeing my instructor’s cars in the car park and hearing my friend on the radio not to mention Mike Kilo and Golf Whiskey parked up! Good luck in the States
I have loved watching these vlogs, they have been really enjoyable, looking forward to the next chapter and watching you fly around Texas and the USA. Congratulations and all the best in the move 👏 👍 🙌 😀
Noel you have given the kick up the ass to get my PPL and guess what being quite fitting I passed and got my final hours in today out of BPL. So thank you for everything you have done for a lot of people out there. Thank you !!!!
Noel.. that was a very emotional last video.. fitting song at the end. I wish you and the family all the best in the USA. And look forward to more adventures. Keep up the amazing work.
This really bought it home to me, all the memories and emotions came flooding back of the time I uprooted my family ,and said goodbye to my family and friends and left the shores of the UK to start a new life in Australia . It’s very hard , and unless you have done it ,no one knows the full range of emotions you will go through . You will have many times you want to jump back on the plane and go back home to the UK , no matter how long you stay in the USA , home will always be England . I sincerely hope your lives are good over there . Thanks for your videos , I’ve loved them all , and look forward to the next chapter in your adventurous life .
Noel good luck to you and Rachel and the kids sounds really great new adventure for you all. Thank you for all your great videos you have made a real credit to you kindest regards Paul in Kent
Living in the US is going to be a bit of a change for sure! But as far as flying, I think you’ll definitely enjoy having a lot more country to explore/experience over here!
@@FlyWithNoelPhilips I concur! I started working on my license in my late 30s and flew five different 172s at my flight school. All but two were older than me, but they flew wonderfully.
No longer will I be hiking in the Peak District National Park wondering if that's Noel flying overhead. Au Revoir but not goodbye Noel. Good luck in your new endeavours.
Noel Its been a pleasure watching you and your dear family enjoying all the aspects of flying! Take care and I look forward to any future updates! Terry
Mr Phillips I got emotional myself watching this. Your videos have helped me through the toughest time of my life when my mother passed away from cancer. Watching you videos always puts a smile on my face and whenever I feel down I just watch a Noel Phillips video and I'm instantly better. I'm going to miss the england videos but am looking forward to the new adventures. Can't wait for the next one and welcome to the USA.
You've been a real inspiration for me Noel! Thanks for the time and effort you've put into the video from the quality of content to production! Thanks, mate. Clarkey 👍😀
Noel and Family coming to the States?? HELL YEAH!!!!! Welcome, Welcome, Welcome from Central VA. Can't wait to hear ya buzzing overhead. Safe travels to get here!!! Cheers!
Very fitting video. I know the feeling, was also emotional when I did my last flight on my favourite Piper Archer. Wishing you many new and exciting flights ahead.
Noel I’ve truly loved watching your videos from across the pond in New York for a long time and you partially inspired me to work towards my PPL finally at 36 years old and I am well on my way to that magical 40 hours all of us pilots love to conquer. Flying really does add such fulfillment to one’s life no matter what everyone’s own unique situation is going forward and you showed such a great example of that documenting your own special journey with aviation and it’s much appreciated! Can’t wait to watch your new adventures in the US and I wish you and your family all of the best and safe travels coming over here!
Hope the move goes well Noel ..enjoyed watching your trips ..I flew over much of the same territory when I did my PPL and subsequent flying out of Nottingham 👍
Thank you so much for the videos in the uk a special thank you for coming to Swansea which meant a lot I was gutted I didn’t come and meet you before you left for the US but from us all hope you enjoy your adventure in the US and we all will miss you 👍
Hi Noel, just catching up with your channel. I learnt to fly at Leicester in 2001. Looking at GW and HEN takes me back there flying with Norman, Gareth and John! Good Times. Enjoy Texas. Safe flying.
Goodness…. I almost had to reach for the tissues. Thanks for sharing all of your UK flying adventures. I look forward to seeing your state side adventures. Wishing you and your family all the best with your move & transition to Texas.
I flew into Leicester for my PPL cross country, then on to Gloucester - where I landed on the wrong runway, and then back to Tatenhill. This was 13+ years ago now. Haven’t flown for 10+ years since I moved State Side. Seriously thinking about taking it up again.
Noel - Big thanks for all the videos from Gamston, was hoping I'd bump into you there when I start my PPL in the new year. All the best for you and your family in the US of A. Look forward to all the new videos.
Ahhh, Noel ... even though I don't know you personally and I'm not a pilot, this still makes me a little sad! I never thought I'd watch your pilot vlogs as well the trip reports, but here we are again lol. Thanks for all the great vlogs and for putting Gamston on the map! And good luck with your big move. Having moved from East Anglia to the US myself 24 years ago, I'm confident you're going to do fine.
Good luck Noel, got a few hours in LB myself and often used to visit Leicester. When you call up to join there it’s not unusual to hear ‘five in circuit’!! Best of luck to you and your family in Texas, it’s a big move but keep looking ahead, not behind.
I buddy hope you and family are well. Sorry to here you are leaving the UK.sad times and happy times buddy. Good luck with Texas buddy happy flying to you phil.
9:20 is an aircraft from my flying school! Tatenhill! Done many an hour in G-TALC. So sad to see you leave the UK Noel; an inspiration to so many including myself to do their PPL. Best of luck in the states 🎉🎉
All the very best with your new adventures in the US Noel love your videos again all the best to you and your family with your move and adventures in Texas
All the best with the move mate. I was abit of a late comer to your channel. Discovered you during the first lockdown and your vids got me through that and I’ve watched ever since. I’m always rewatching your older videos. Thanks for that Noel. Wish you and your family every success in your new venture
Noel, really enjoy both your channels but particularly this one as it’s been lovely watching you go on your own flying adventures with rach and your son - he’s been areal star of this channel as well as you. Whatever the future holds for you and the family, wishing you all very well. It must have been emotional doing that flight and putting the highlights reel together at the end. I’m really excited to see and hear what the future holds for you and the family. Take care and fly safe.
Hi Noel. Have liked your vlogs for some time and would like to wish you and your family good luck in your next (flight) journey in Texas. I will look forward to checking out your future website. Chris

I’ve done a Lot of flying between Miami and Texas and extensively in Texas from Houston. It’s all history now but I’m sure you will enjoy it all. Great service at the FBU’s and always a free car to use to pop into town. Awesome. Enjoy. Looking forward to seeing the content and reliving some memories.
Good Luck in the US Noel. It's sad for us to see the end to flying out of Gamston! I nearly shed a tear or two. Best of luck in America and can't wait to see what comes next!
Thank you Noel, your videos are amazing, I'm very excited to see what happens next. My very best wishes to you and the family as you move, a new adventure for all of you. Your videos really cheer me up and educate me too. Many thanks
Absolutely perfect Noel!! Great video as always. I wish you and your family all the best on your new adventure. I have been subscribed a while so I will not be missing out on the next one from across the pond 🤞
Really enjoyed sharing your aviation journey in the Uk. Flying in the US is fantastic fun - double down on your weather skills, the US is subjected to some amazing weather conditions! Don’t forget to get some UK flying in whenever you are back in UK on leave, keeping your UK license alive is likely to be easier than re-establishing it if/when you come back - best of luck to you and yours!👍👍
Congratulations on moving to the USA. Once your able to fly again, it would be awesome to do a fly-in meet and great for the pilot’s that watch your channel. Stearman field outside of Wichita Ks is an amazing place to fly to and eat.
Best of luck! I travel frequently from the US west coast to Texas. Hope our paths cross at some point on your next journey across the globe. Ironically, now that you are leaving the UK, I am heading there quite often. Your flying stories really hit home. Many fond memories of the flying club and flight school. Seems everyone has the same stories about the hangar queen, hot rod, and the popular plane. The plane that will always live in my heart is an old 1977 Cessna 172. While everyone else picked the fancy G2000 equipped planes with shiny paint and leather, the old gal was always my choice to grab a $100 hamburger. Always flew perfectly and she never hiccupped once.

I just shared this to my FB page with these comments: Here's a video that I suspect will make almost no sense to virtually anyone, but it absolutely chokes me up. Saying goodbye to beloved airplanes and familiar locals as you prepare to open a new chapter of your life. I'd try to work out how many times I've done this, but it'd just make me weepy. #ItinerantPilot
Well Noel what a guy you are and having followed you and your family for a while now it is sad to see you all departing the U.K. but obviously you have you reasons for doing it and hopefully when you get settled in the USA we can experience of you flying in a light aircraft again both on your own and with the family but good luck mate in your move to the states and hope to see many more vlogs from your good self
Great tribute Noel and the song choice was perfect! you bought a tear to my eye, but onwards and upwards pardon the pun but all the best mate look forward to more content on both channels.
As a travel enthusiast and private pilot born in England and raised the US, I love both of your channels. My heart dropped when I saw the video title, but I also suspected you had a good surprise up your sleeve! VFR flying in the US will be a bit different, but (at least from my perspective) I think it's probably a bit easier. Airspace is a lot easier to deal with (for the most part). Our "flight following" service is very similar to the "basic service" in the UK. Altimeter settings will of course be in inches of mercury and the whole QNH/QFE transition thing is nonexistent. I look forward to seeing you get into flying in TX and elsewhere in the US!
Sad to see the end of your U.K. flying vlogs Noel on one hand, but..... Welcome to Texas! Saw on the Instagram that you've made it over and caught up with some of my favorite Aviation UA-camrs already and gotten re-introduced to Texas BBQ, so I hope we get to see some Wong Warrior footage soon as you get used to flying in the US as a resident instead of a visitor!
Great move Noel. First time I flew in Texas on a hot day I truly experienced the effects of density altitude. As an Austin area resident you picked a great time of year to move and get established before it gets hot again. Wish you were moving to Austin!

Good luck on your new adventures
Sorry to see ya go all the best to all the family 🇬🇧🇺🇸
