Chris Long on His Close Relationship with Juice WRLD and Seeing Him Pass Away (Full Interview)

- Опубліковано 7 чер 2024
- In this full-length interview, BMX filmer Chris Long talks about merging his love for riding bikes with film, meeting Adam22 back when very few people knew who they were in Los Angeles, and the interesting origin story behind No Jumper. He also shares how working with Adam22 eventually led to him meeting up-and-coming rappers like Trippie Redd and Juice WRLD.
As the conversation continues, the Boston native shares some revealing details about the friendship that he developed with Juice WRLD and the way in which his proclivity for filmmaking eventually led to him becoming the late rapper's assistant. Lastly, he talks about Juice WRLD's competitive nature as a recording artist, his sensitivities as a human being, his collaborative effort with Eminem, and his battle against drug addiction in the days leading up to his untimely death.

Protect this man at all costs. It’s obvious how much he cared for juice. You can see and hear it all thru out the interview. Much love 🖤 RIP JUICEWRLD
i know him personally he is the way he says he is... he just a chill person. miss them smoke breaks at work Chris. His whole family is cool his little brother Matty and Mom Maria.
That’s cool Jared. I wish Chris knew how many of us love and pray for chris as best as we can and not know him personally.
Liesss he’s fake asf and lying on the whole situation just like everyone else involved. No one around him was good for him and his constant lies painting juice as a beyond help drug head while he literally has videos saved of him taking percs and other drugs right next to juice. Do some research y’all please

This is the type of interview that the doc about Juice was missing. I really enjoyed seeing all the videos of Juice, but a lot of clarification I felt was needed. I know we all had some questions about situations we saw. The doc could have been like 2 parts, where the 2nd part was more interviews and people sharing stories (the burnt pizza story was funny).
What platform is the doc on?
@@S.T.A.550 HBO
💯💯💯
the documentary didnt focus on who juice was as a human it mostly focused on showing his drug use n shit like that kinda putting a bad light on him in a way
@@lostworldofjjong fuck the doc tryna teach the kids by shining the wrong light a juice
Chris did really well in this interview , it takes a lot of strength to not only talk about the situation but going into detail like that without cracking and tearing stay strong man
“That’s why you’re my best friend bro” made me actually cry wtf man
Same dude
Chris is such a beautiful person. Sending him love and light and so much healing🧡I can’t imagine how much he’s dealing with
I remember riding bmx with Chris in 2012. Glad to see him doing big things. I was completely unaware
Chris is the goat and the best filmer & photographer in the game, such a genuine guy! I love him hope everything works out for him the the 999 family!
Damn we throw the word “goat” around loosely these days..
@@dshiznit8341 you ain’t one and he did mad stuff for the whole community so yeah he is
Lmao GOAT
@@dshiznit8341 you sure ain’t one
Bro why would I want your validation on goat status? Everyone is a goat to you peon 🤣
Appreciate this interview so much. The doc was cool, but this man speaking about his best friend really humanized J. He loved hard and real, and was loved that same way back. Hearing about how he didn’t roll like “normal rappers and just kept it chill, surrounded by friends doing what he loved to do brought that part of the doc to life. It’s these things that we missed hearing. We “saw it” but Chris brought it to life. ♥️🏍💭
I’m 45 yrs old and when juice passed away I cried like a baby !! He was so just happy goofing around he cracked me up when ya watched him and if you were in a bad mood he would make ya laugh just being goofy . It would put you in a good mood automatic !! His music hit home sooooooo much and the emotions in his music was felt by all the fuck ups like myself. Man if you could wear a song out by streaming it I would have wore out most of his songs !! God he was so good I mean come on I’m a 45 yr old white guy from the backwoods who used to listen mainly to country music and his music was so good hit the thoughts and things I’ve struggled with but a black kid from Chicago was easily able to suck this old white guy straight into his music to the point it was all I listened to or watch his vids . When he died I couldn’t believe it I was so mad and sad I fucking hate it !!! Made me cry multiple times and man it’s just not fair !! He was such a good man to he wasn’t a pc of shit he took care of everyone around him he didn’t care what color you are , he had a mix of black friends white friends , it didn’t matter one bit and not a ounce of racism stigmata in him and I loved that about him because it reminded me of me and how that could help influence more people to be like him !! God bless juice you’ll be missed forever
I don’t know you. ….I do know this - you don’t have to personally know someone to find joy in witnessing their shine. When you have lived in total darkness around you learn how to navigate by instinct and intuition…. Only takes one candle flame to remind you that you actually still have the ability to see 🫶

Thank you for the full interview 🙏🏽
I’m ngl from the way all of you guys talk about him, bibby, g herbo, polo, south side, d savage, ally. Y’all were his peace while he was famous man. Y’all made him feel normal and y’all brought down his anxiety a lot. I hope he rests in peace, and I hope you guys get some peace as well.
Such a pure soul, all love Chris I hope your doing alright! Thank you for all the content you’ve given us. We all miss J. 999 4L
Heart wrenching, raw, and real. Much love, respect, and prayers, bc life is hard
Juice was a star when we all needed it, 999 forever!!! This is the best interview I've seen!!!! I really needed this!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had no idea this even came out . I'm so happy chris got to speak about juice and his experiences with him. Alot of it made me smile . We all miss juice so much but it's different for chris and I hope he's doing better today dealing with not having juice around. We love n miss u juice
One of the best interviews I've seen in a looooong time. Props in the highest regard to this man.
thank you for this. RIP king
Love Chris I’ve been dealing with addiction drug use since I was 14 and I’m 27 now and I can tell it’s progressively gotten worse.. I’ve tried therapy and I still do therapy but it’s just so hard to cope with PTSD anxiety and depression..
try to seek help man please i beg you. im prayin for u bro don't want anything bad to happen. love u man.
It’s tough bro. I’ve been fighting opiate addiction since I was a teenager and I’m 37 now. It’s fucked bro. I’ve lost so much and ruined so many relationships. It’s crazy that no matter how fucked up life gets it’s still so hard to let go. Wishing u the best tho
I hope you are able to get a hold of this horrible thing called addiction. It took me many many many years to get a hold of it myself and I understand how impossible and out of reach conquering that demon feels. But, it can happen if you never stop trying. Wishing you my very best!
Smoke a blunt 😌
First thing is to stop making excuses. Yes life is hard and all the mental shit can get overwhelming. You either want to quit or not. If no do your best to manage it and don't let it get in the way of being there for your family. If you do want to quit stop making excuses and start taking action. It's as simple and hard as that.
What an interview. Tears on me most the time. Sheeesh
Been waiting for this salute to Chris, for being one of the realest around him awesome film maker and person we love you Chris bless you
Great interview and we love you chris. fs one of the realest people out there🤍

amazing interview love you chris
This deserves millions of views
Thanks for this interview,I use to do pills for 8years I stopped for my nieces there moms left them so I took them in I thanks god for them they saved my life I feel so much better I been clean for 5years
i understand him wishing the documentary wasn’t so focused on his drug use especially being his best friend but i can say i’m soo happy it was and i bet a lot of people can relate to this as well. i related to it a lot, i didn’t think it would effect me like it did but i cry everytime i watch it because i see myself the entire time because of the drug use and it made me just want to be better and do better. it was like seeing myself from an outside perspective which i needed. everytime i listen to juice now i feel a connection to his music so much more than i ever have. i yell his lyrics everytime i play his music bc of the way i relate to what he says and what he went through. the documentary genuinely helped me in so many ways and the way it’s helped me with sobriety is more than anything or anyone else has. it really makes me and many other people feel less alone and will continue to save ppls lives. he’s changed and helped people in an insane amount of ways and that documentary was what i needed to see and will forever hold a place in my heart along w his music.
Took the words out my mind. This how I feel about him. 999 🕊️
I dont Think i have ever found anyone who does the same shit as me! Bro i cry most days listening to his voice and some of his songs are just so fucking harsh to listen to, knowing he is gone :/ And i Can relate to what you say about the drugs and the thing about yelling his lyrics. Most people laugh at me, but i dont Care, a King deserves to be praised! R.I.P 999 :(
Same here
What's the name of the documentary
I’m not knocking this lady hard work or anything I’m sure she’s in her position for a reason but DAMN HER VOICE IS ANNOYING!!! I love Vladtv but I just can’t get wit Shirley’s voice.😩
Horrible
For real, and she kept saying aw every time he shared a serious detail to the story, it’s wild to me
I hope people use this documentary for good! It’s hard to watch but so powerful and so powerful the grip of drugs. Juice we will miss you bro but I know God has bigger plans that we don’t understand
I have had an addiction since I was 13 on pills I have tried to stop and go to rehab but I can’t get off of em I wanna stop but I keep going back to them I hope everyone who has an addiction to stop whatever ur doing and help yourself 🙏
Underrated interview
I love this one ,were on perfect and especially dealing with stress, anxiety, ptsd, hard for everyone, it's crazy but we have to move on, this story hits. Because we all go through this,

always been a huge fan of juice, was a heavy listener since the very beginning and after his death, my perspective on juice and his life has completely changed over the years, never been able to relate to him within the realm of heartbreak and drug addiction..but I relate so much with mental health. It’s crazy to think that everything he said in his music showed exactly what the end result would be and it took just that for me to realize how talented juice was. He will never be forgotten by me or his fans. 999 forever.
U could tell Chris was trying not to cry juice was a living legend and still is in our hearts we have to let his legacy live on 🙏🙌🏻😭😢🕊️🕊️🕊️

I don’t think we’ll ever have another artist like Juice. Juice’s story is very interesting, he was just a great guy who got caught up with drugs.
Percs do that to a person, they make it very easy for you to talk to people and forge bonds and be energetic and outgoing... Did that to me it was crazy.

People just treat those struggling with addiction so badly. The cops just sound like jerks. Addiction doesn’t favor the rich or the poor. It doesn’t care what race you are or religion. Addiction isn’t just for “bad guys”. It grabs hold of mothers, fathers, brothers, sister, friends, kids… treat those struggling with addiction like people because that’s exactly who they are, people.
@Cali Red I totally agree ! Except for the statement “Addiction doesn’t favor the rich or the poor”. I disagree with no disrespect but, those cops, judges, mayors etc that are “jerks” are rich. Rich family can afford to put their loved one, family member in a rehabilitation program instead of a state program. There is a big difference… the rich can afford the most innovative solution to help their loved ones. Also, poor people that have addiction issues may not have any family and may live on the street. I could go on and on. I know several rich judges that get away with doing drugs….it’s so sickening but my opinion is it’s totally different from the rich and the poor. That is my opinion from what I have observed around me.
@@jennchristian5759 yeah I agree also race definitely is a factor too. If he was white he would of been treated sooner and better. its a shame. RIP JUICE
@@jennchristian5759 my god have you hit the nail on the head. You should send that to every mayor and congressman you can. That is the truest shit I’ve heard in years!

Love Chris. Such a genuine loving great soul. I completely understand why Juice wanted him around since day one. Chris is the best friend I feel we all need. A real ride or die homie, not there for fame or money just there for you and the bond you shared. I've always loved that he was such a large part of Juices life because I feel like he needed a REAL friend there with him.

The only Shirly Ju interview i have ever been able to finish, i feel like the somber tone of the interview made her school girl attitude calm down a bit and be more serious. If she did that in more interviews she wouldn't be so bad.
Shout out chris Long 💙

I was doing 1400mg a day on codeine. He’s right about the withdrawals killing you, you can’t just stop. I had to do rehab for 8 weeks. I’ve been clean nearly a year now.

Everyone needs a chris ..I was getting crazy an everyone was screaming at me too....I know ally an chris loved juice an they tried everything ....its hard to try to explain addiction if u haven't been thru it
All consuming is the best way I know to say about it. It's ALL consuming. All the way down to our lives.
I don’t know Chris personally. I’ve lived, fighting and just struggling others still to, through a loss of this type. Though time, place and many surrounding circumstances different , I only can speak on my own. I hope Chris has a Chris….. cause without, even thou it might not show or you do your best to not let it to….. I will just say 🙏 I hope he hasn’t found himself there where the path ends and the wilderness begins. 🫶
