William Redfield, the star of tonight's story, was heard on 80 episodes of CBS Radio Mystery Theater. William played Felix's brother on an episode of The Odd Couple. He was diagnosed with leukemia while working in the movie, One Flew Over the cuckoo's Nest. William died in 1976 at age 49.

I first heard this in Charlotte, North Carolian when I was 17 years old in 1987 on my car's AM Radio. This show was being broadcasted from Chicago, Illinois on a Chicago Radio station! How 2 teenagers in North Carolina could pick-up an AM signal from Illinois is beyond me but we loved it anyway.
