The state of the union address is not seen by only Americans. The world watches this and we can all see how the union is crumbling and allowing disrespect to tear down the impression that everyone around the world has of the US.

As a Swede, I must confess that I thought Taylor Greene had some mental issues with her outbreak during tonight's speech. I really thought, "Wow, she's just went out from an institution for insane people." Otherwise I had some kind of joy watching the Swedish PM, Ulf Kristersson, cheer along for "Four more years" for Biden. The plea from Johnson came one day before Biden is scheduled to deliver his State of the Union address to a divided Congress that includes many of his foremost Republican critics.
That dynamic was on full display last year, when some GOP lawmakers heckled the president throughout his speech in the House chamber. Cries of “secure the border” were heard at one point during the speech, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called Biden a “liar” when he was discussing potential cuts to Social Security and Medicare as part of a deal on the debt limit.
The heckling about Social Security and Medicare led to an unusual back-and-forth between Biden and his Republican critics, which prompted an agreement from individuals in the room that the two programs should remain intact.
Heckling from political opponents during the State of the Union address is not uncommon. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) notably shouted “you lie” at then-President Obama in 2009.
Republicans, however, said Johnson is urging his members to break that tradition and maintain appropriate etiquette in the chamber for Biden’s address Thursday.
Some lawmakers, though, are skeptical that members will be able to fight the urge to heckle Biden.

They certainly don’t curse each other out in UK politics, the general backwards and forwards is par for the course with the leader, the opposition leader and various politicians of different parties. This is overseen by the Speaker . Usually with lots of yells of “order” when things get unruly. It’s a backwards and forward, question and answer. Thus the name Question Time - sure there’s a level of BS but that’s tradition.
America’s president isn’t in the senate day after day. A state of the union address is a speech given once a year and elective representatives should have the decorum not to heckle the leader of the country.
So it’s a false equivalency comparing UK politics, which generally has some level of stiff upper lip decorum to the MAGA neerdowells and their Republican Quislings talking gibberish and acting like they do.
