There are too many players on this team that don't take their craft seriously and sign with the Dolphins just to live in South Florida. Doug, what happened to Jaylen Wright? I had such high hopes for him, and by the end of the season, I honestly forgot he was on the team. As always, great vid, sir. 🐬🆙️
He was given some reps when achane was out and again when Mostert was out, but then towards end of season it was almost all achane, a tiny bit Mostert, no wright. The reason we went from the best to the worst offense is the o-line and handling difficult personalities. I think Wilkins was a key contributor in handling the larger personalities like Hill. Chub I think will step up this year as handling them better.
We never had near the best oline and dont have the worst. Teams countered MM's scheme and either he didnt know what to do or wouldnt adjust (a scheme tailored around Tua's shortcomings but ran it with other QBs) , the league put a stop to our illegal motion, Tua got hurt again and doesnt play well against good teams, and the inability to run block with any consistency.
I would agree with the picks the only other one I will give some flowers to is Jaylen Wright. Jaylen was not utilized as he can be and the OL being fixed I think he will be a great downhill RB. Time will tell if I am right and he will rival Achane as number one RB.

SOS is not just opp winning % because the schedules are so imbalanced, it is also when you play a team (we played the Rams when they were not good but their win% is good for example, when teams are injured, etc). You have to look at their rankings of when we played them. Power Ranking Guru is a much better measure of SOS than just win%. We had the easiest at the end of the year and bottom third to start the year. It was similar last year as well. Year 5 of the great rebuild. Umm ahh next year ummm we'll do better and the idiot with the baseball cap shouldn't be allowed to speak about what he is going to do. Regarding Hill's actions and player tardiness. It wont be tolerated again????????It shouldnt have been tolerated in the first place.....this isnt HS
What if the Fins use all their draft picks, then they go out and TRY to trade huntley and thompson for a backup QB, for example, huntley, thompson for Kenny Pickett
Of course the injuries hurt, any team losing their starting QB is going to struggle. The problem was that we had no back-up Thomson is not the man, Snoop with a pre-season could be. but he is a game to game back up not a take over the season back up and very few teams have Don Strock anymore. Hill wasn't a disappointment, there were games during the Tua time on IR where he got very few targets, he can't catch it if its not thrown to him. His display in the game just gone against the Jets, that's a different story, get that man out of this team asap.
I hate the fact though that we say we Should’ve/Would’ve/Could’ve gone places with Tua healthy. We are at the stage where if there is a qb there in the draft they’re going to pull the trigger. For me I’m banging the table for Jaxon Dart in the 3rd. He’s innovative, smart, love the way he throws the ball. Dolphins drafted Tua over Herbert fine whatever I’m over it, just give me Jaxon Dart now. Let him sit and develop, then unfortunately if Tua goes down you can have a reliable backup and a possible piece to build around.
Obviously, injuries played a huge role in our season. Sometimes it takes a disappointing season for coaches/GMs to fully understand what they need to change, otherwise they get spoiled by winning and the problems multiply and takes years to fix
Its his decision to keep repeating the same mistake, he doesn't have to throw the flag especially in non-critical situations. Its one of the things that makes me wants pick him up and shake him until he starts to sober up.
Fighting with a friend who defends Chris Grier, all the players (including Thompson and Huntley). We will stay in mediocrity with this thought process.
@benfloydy Can't see any bad in anyone related to the team. Even if they blame each other, he finds reasons to agree while defending the other guy. It's actually inspiring.
This was one of the most undisciplined seasons I've seen in a very long time. Everyone states the obvious about the Oline, injuries, etc. but the discipline was nonexistent. All I saw all year was a bunch of overpaid crybabies ready to throw in the towel.....disgrace. The NFL as a whole is a clown show smh
Resign Jonnu and Calais, for goodness sakes get rid of Eichenberg and Julian Hill. Trade Tyreek. Also, Can someone please take all the bubble screen plays out of Mcdaniel's playbook?

What a difference a real QB can make. Washington ended 2023 season with a 4-13 record and entered 2024 with one of the worst rosters in the NFL. Enter J. Daniels. He put the team on his back and led them to a 12-5 record, will probably win offensive rookie of the year and his improvisational skills were fun to watch and left you in awe. Meanwhile, Fins had a far more superior roster but our QB is Tua. Team sport? Go back and read how J. Daniels changed the pathetic Washington team from a laughingstock to a 12-5 team and a playoff berth. Thats what a good QB can do for a team. Tua simply isnt good enough.
Another dud year for Waddle....and I don't wanna hear the stupid 1000 yard seasons. That's such a low milestone for what I would consider being good/great.
I dont blame Waddle for this, he's the product of being a WR2 (and reciever 3) in a very badly designed offense. His hands actually looked better this year imo, but far fewer looks. He also has a very friendly team contract if he can play half as well as Tyreek.
For a second there I thought you meant they were the worst at running the ball. And I wasnt even going to argue if you said the NFL but I thought all of pro sports was a bit harsh. 😂

You're kidding yourself if you think they'll draft a QB in the first 3 rounds.
@ bet
I knew this year was gonna be bad the day Tyreek got arrested.
It wasn't weeks earlier when you saw the OL depth chart? 😂
@benfloydy 😆 i was hopeful for decent free agency/trade deadline news..... which never happened
Didn’t really need a 20 minute video to say the season sucked. I can sum up next year too going to suck.
Jets
💚🤍
Patriots
Obviously, injuries played a huge role in our season. Sometimes it takes a disappointing season for coaches/GMs to fully understand what they need to change, otherwise they get spoiled by winning and the problems multiply and takes years to fix
Offense was hot garbage the last month of the season last year too.
2022 was the year. DOUG. TUA IS THE PROBLEM HE NEEDS TO STAY HEALTHy and mcdaniel needs to be a better coach
Day gets just a little bit better when I see a video drop!🔥🤌
Best dolphins season since lol jk
If Tua only slid…
Doug this team is out of control with a player run franchise no discipline. How has that worked out. Stop handing out participation trophies. Man up!
I like Campbell and Zieler better than Wilkins and Z 100%
Mike McDaniel is not 4-19 on red challenge flags, a guy up in the booth telling Mile to throw the flag is 4-19 lets be honest about it.
Its his decision to keep repeating the same mistake, he doesn't have to throw the flag especially in non-critical situations.
Its one of the things that makes me wants pick him up and shake him until he starts to sober up.
Love Jordyn brooks, goodbye Holland and poyer
Biggest dissapointment: easy ...Jevon Holland. Played like crap in a contract year. Let him walk.
I want the opposite - extend him on a realistic value deal and coach him back to form.
But yes, biggest disappointment.
Jets....skyler at the helm
lol yeah right
Fighting with a friend who defends Chris Grier, all the players (including Thompson and Huntley). We will stay in mediocrity with this thought process.
I would have thought that'd be a very quick fight.
@benfloydy Can't see any bad in anyone related to the team. Even if they blame each other, he finds reasons to agree while defending the other guy. It's actually inspiring.
Depressed Doug, that's what is up biddy!!
32-20
Idc you guys are still the laughing stock of the NFL with the mark Sanchez fumble LMAO 😂

Three letters sum up not only this year and this and many other ranchises - dei.
Jets January 8th.
The Texans n Arizona games too
Tua might be about the 10th best qb in the league yet hes paid top 5. He will never be reliable. This team is a disaster
he is not paid top 5 he is 11th in total contract and 9th in guarentees
Another dud year for Waddle....and I don't wanna hear the stupid 1000 yard seasons. That's such a low milestone for what I would consider being good/great.
I dont blame Waddle for this, he's the product of being a WR2 (and reciever 3) in a very badly designed offense. His hands actually looked better this year imo, but far fewer looks.
He also has a very friendly team contract if he can play half as well as Tyreek.
My year in review is the Dolphins are one of the worst run franchises in all of pro sports.
For a second there I thought you meant they were the worst at running the ball. And I wasnt even going to argue if you said the NFL but I thought all of pro sports was a bit harsh. 😂
Brother Doug I want you to know that without a doubt in my military mind you are the best- we appreciate your hard work and professionalism- Thank You Stay The Course
Jets!
