❤❤❤❤❤I love hearing no matter how many times about Paul and the thorn in his flesh every time I hear it or read it I know Gods talking to me ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏took SOME TIME for me to understand it’s out of love and that I need it for as long as God allows 🙏♥️💕when I’m feeling discouraged I really find comfort in thinking God wants so much to make sure I ALWAYS STAY CLOSE TO HIM and that makes me feel so blessed His grace is sufficient 🙏🙏🙏🥰
For most of my Christian life, i always wondered about what that really meant for me, until the minute this sermon played on its own as i was strolling. Just a few days ago, i again asked Papa to please help me with my mouth. Ive prayed about the thing's that come out of it for so many years, yet just a few minutes ago, when this pastor said " what is it that you have asked god to take away" , also stating , more than three times, suddenly, out of no where, i remembered telling Papa, why have i never been able to control this mouth of mine!? Ive asked you so many times to plz help me, to put a guard over it, for holy spirit to heavily convict me, even before i say it, but here i go again, yesterday and today, i yelled at my husband and added many stupid thing's that shouldnt have been said!! 😢😢. I hate my mouth, how can i love god with all my heart, live for him daily,yet when i get so hurt, or feel like someone is out to get me, or when i feel misunderstood or whatever, i go and spill out stupid stuff from my mouth? Ill never understand, but now, im thinking, can my big mouth be my thorn in the flesh? I pray not!!!
I dont even care about my own life anymore. All i care about is living the life God desires of me for his names sake and for the sake of the souls of others.
What a powerful statements about the life we choose in Christ Jesus. And with him the true meaning of who we to become and who we serve and what. God wants for our lives and to live it out the way God speaks forward for our life. I have to point out that "God said no" to Paul is an assumption not written in the passage. God actually means Yes by grace you will sufficiently be delivered

As much as I appreciate the ministry of Dr. Kendall, especially his teaching on forgiveness, WHERE does this passage say GOD sent this messenger of satan? ALL it says was that the thorn was given to him, NOT that God gave it to him. I DO NOT believe it came from God. It was, exactly what it says, a messenger sent by satan himself. It was NOT inflicted by God!!
If I'm wrong, please show me from Scripture where GOD sent this messenger of satan, God tempts, tests, and tries no man with evil, neither is He tempted with evil. Please show me where I'm wrong.

[8] Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. [9] And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [10] Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. … You are correct about God not tempting us! found in James! correct! but God in His infinite love can sometimes test us, to sharpen us (i dont know if im using that term correctly) At least i’ve experienced it personally. When we are stubborn or have an area of our life that God needs to break in order for us to depend on him entirely, or not let us get to our head that we are better than others (like in Paul’s case) He will do anything to protect us, what we see as trial Will be to glorify Him. He presents an articulate Calvinistic approach towards why Christians have sickness ... YT is full of them ... The thorn in the flesh Paul spoke of were the Judaizers who agitated the crowds in each town Paul brought the gospel to ... Calvinists usually quote from Job, they rarely effectively deal with the healing mandate found in the gospel. Soso (sp?) is the correct word not just salvation ... Howard Pittman once shared these beliefs until Jesus spoke with him in death, then revived him to bring the message back to us. Beloved, Please pause and pray before taking John Calvin's (or anyone else’s) theology any further into your walk with Christ, your eternity is in the balance. Save yourselves. Please don't bother to bring your case against me, I once was a Calvinist but no more!
