However, I dislike when FLs act weak, thinking they are being nice and kind then beg to keep their job. The etymology of nice means stupid. Why is she trying to save face and be decent to the person who stabbed her in the back? Put yourself first in cases like this. It's easy to see that her co-worker could care less about what happens to the FL. even after she told her the cake was had written on for her boyfriends b'day.

Why grill the female lead about it and not the other workers he saw fighting about putting the cake on the table in the first place? I don't disagree with him about the lesson the female lead needs to learn on standing up for herself, but he handled it wrong, in my opinion. I also see where the female lead was coming from in trying to take the blame and quell the situation quickly. Did he really want to sit through a she said-she said back and forth or get on with what he's doing? The other girl clearly wasn't going to take responsibility for her actions. Where's her lesson in taking accountability? He came off like a jerk, I agree with that. But he is right that she needs to advocate for herself.

This is one of those shows you love or hate. And it has nothing to do with the leading couple. They are great, but the true story is about an overbearing mother who treats her daughter like a piece of meat (no more value than selling the family cow). Some see it as the mother just watching out for her daughter and the other half don't understand why she isn't disowned by the family. But this side storyline (about 1/3 of the series is dominated by it) that the writer included ruined the series for me. The name of the drama is "Best Choice Ever".
