Me too! It would be nice if it was on DVD!
So do I. It gave me the willies.
Me 3
They need a remake

Time to dance with this song ☺️?
Grettings from Méjico 🇲🇽!
I am your fan Toni
This is one of my childhood relics. BTW, I would like to see a behind the scenes look.
I've always wanted to see who the dancers were! Some of them may have died! Skeeter Rabbit and Marjorie Smarth! RIP!
same here
Golden era, my Avia freshdog color grey in the '80
The Ballet dancer is cute because of her leggings and white pantyhose
I wish she could have brought her foot near the camera in the end.
what year was this?
It originally aired in 1989
Can you upload behind the scenes of the dancing feet sesame street
There were no dancers the feet were puppets
@@mianrowan Really? I didn't know that at all.
I love 1:35
Is toni the ballet slippers black high top converse sneakers with orange socks or grandma slippers and grey nylons

Toni Basil sure has awesome moves 👌😍she sure can dance. She is so beautiful 😄😍
I misspelled toni name
I’m still trying to figure out who the dancers are to this very day lol
Matt Austin is one of them.
@@ericzubyk2329 Which shoes did Matt Austin wore in this FEET skit?
@@eurobeatpride6309 The converse shoes with blue sweats.
@@ericzubyk2329 if you're talking about the guy from Dancing with the Stars, he was born in 1991. this skit was made in 1989. and if youre talking about the canadian actor, he was born in 1978, and thus would've been 11 at this time. that's a very outlandish assumption to make.
there's a surprising amount of misinformation that's gone around about the dancers in this skit for some reason, like every youtube vid of this skit i've seen has people in the comments making claims that make absolutely no sense... even saw someone claiming the dancers in this were actually puppets.... like WTF
@ToniBasilsHouse Who ever is running this UA-cam channel can you please verify the dancers in this video. Thanks.
whos in the chucks
some people have said it's Terry Bixler. quick google search reveals that he was a skateboarder turned dancer in the 70s who ended up working with Janet Jackson. he's credited for the infamous chair-dancing stunts in some of Janet's music videos. he was 29 when this skit was made in 1989, and was doing Rhythm Nation 1814 that same year.
@@yummyf33t well actually the guy in the converse is Bruno Pop N’ Taco Falcon. Who also worked with Ana Lollipop Sanchez in the Breakin movies.
@@TheCO92 too bad we can't see the making of this and also I don't see their names on sesame Street Muppet Wikia
@@sirubisan698 I guess they’re still trying to verify the dancers. Which is why they haven’t made a muppet wiki page yet.
@@TheCO92 Maybe the man in the tap dancing shoes could be Gregory Hines! He had darker skin than Savion Glover. This was filmed back in 1989. Gregory passed away in 2003!
do you want face reveal?
Do u know
YES! I'M DYING!! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!!
Me two
Who were the dancers?
And, maybe, Poppin Pete, Terry Bixler, Jazzy J, Skeeter Rabbit
@@deborahhigginbotham7276 I did found out that Ana Lollipop Sanchez is the women in the red heels. I also assume that Marjory Smarth is the person in the Avia Sneakers. Though I do wonder who the person in the brown slippers is?
@@TheCO92 Someone said it was Susan Robinson (the character) who was The Slipper Feet.
Here are my guesses:
1.) Poppin' Pete in the gray pants & shiny black dress shoes.
2.) Anne Marie D'Angelo in the ballet flats.
3.) Marjorie Smarth in the Avia sneakers.
4.) Skeeter Rabbit in the Nike sneakers.
5.) Ana Lollipop Sanchez in the red skirt and red high heel pumps.
6.) Terry Bixler in the blue pants, orange socks, & and black Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers.
7.) Jazzy J in the black pants and tap dancing shoes.
8.) Susan Robinson in the maroon night gown and tan slippers.
Geez! I hope I'm right! I hope Toni Basil thinks I'm right! Keeping my fingers crossed!
@@deborahhigginbotham7276 I know the dancers were African American. The only three who aren't African American were Terry Bixler, Anne Marie D'Angelo & Ana "Lollipop" Sanchez. Terry must be the one in the blue pants, orange socks and Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. Ana must be the one in the red skirt, red socks and black high heel pumps! I REALLY hope I'm correct! At the end, I saw the dancers' bare feet! The one in the blue pants has feet that is lighter and the one in the red skirt has skin that is tan!
