Managing a Prescribed Burn - Tips from a Wildlife Biologist

Historically wildfires from natural causes like lightning reduced an overabundance of woody growth. In modern times, land sometimes has to be managed through prescribed burns. Here, we show how we managed a prescribed burn at Government Canyon State Natural Area in San Antonio.
