See in.question paper ...they just ask to rectify errors and pass journal entries...suspense account May also be there in one of the entries...how to do identify the entry which involves suspense account

Discount column of payment side of cash book was wrongly added as 3640 instead of 3120. I have a problem in this question. Would you mind explaining me whether discount column on the payment side is discount received or discount allowed? As per me it is discount allowed. Since discount allowed is overcast by 3640-3120=520. I think we need to debit Suspense Account and credit discount with the difference in amount for rectification. Please clarify me if I am wrong.
